Washer not attached, cold water only works intermittently

I bought this several months ago. I have had two problems: It leaked where the spout meets the body and pivots. Replaced the o-ring and it no longer leaks there. Worse the cold water only came out in a low stream. This problem was intermittent. Sometime the stream was normal, sometimes it barely comes out. Took the cartridge which holds the washer out and found the screw was not screwed in to the cartridge. It was just stuck in the washer. I tried to screw it in but found I could not get the screw started. I guess whoever assembled it had the same problem and said screw it and left it like that. I'm pretty handy so I drilled the hole out and re-tapped the threads one size larger, screwed the washer in and now it is working OK.

Close but no cigar.

Is ok quality for the price, the cold water valve machining was very poor, had to disassemble and tighten the screw holding the washers on both sides for it to work properly. The poor machine job causes the washer to squeeze out and leak every time someone closes the valve hard. The rubber washer is supposed to be captured in metal but the machining is through one side and will have to be replaced for it to work right.

Good quality

This faucet is heavy duty and sturdy. Fairly easy to install and is adjustable. I'm pleased with it.

Starting leaking at 1 year mark; no warranty in Canada.

As the title states it starting leaking at 1 year mark; no warranty in Canada. Amazon should remove the advertised 10 year warranty as it's only valid in the USA.
