Mixed feelings

First of all, quality is refreshingly high. Not surprisingly, this is made in Taiwan and not China. You get what you pay for. Sadly, its not all good news. Reading the instructions, I was surprised the bracket spacing was not listed--instead, they want you to set up the two ends with roller draw an outline. To me, that's called "winging it". The other thing is I wish the roller protruded out from the wall a little further. As is, a full roll will rub slighly on the base of the two ends. Lastly, the tabs on the mounting brackets need to protrude a little more--it was hard to engage the bases onto them and i even had to loosen the screws holding the brackets to the wall. Overall though, This is a solid, heavyweight unit that I'm pretty pleased with.
