Nice fixture, but poorly designed for installation

Had it been a round fixture, sure the two pre-drilled holes would have been fine. For a square fixture where you need to match the geometry of a porch to get right angles and lack of flexibility on where the screws will line up in the ceiling box, while making it snug in the process... not so fine. Ended up using a 3" 3/8 threaded bolt with fender washer, drilled a hole in the center of the fixture and screwed into the ceiling box plate that came with the light. Also, the glass has to go in before putting it up and it's terribly awkward to push against the glass while holding it, hoping you don't drop the whole thing while threading in the two small retaining screws. Fortunately, LED bulbs last longer than incandescents so hopefully it will not need to come down for some time.

Nice lamp so love it as returning it will be a challenge.

The lamp is great but it arrived with two broken side panels. The issue is the fact we have to return the whole lamp and stupidly, we break down our boxes and toss Styrofoam to quickly for our own good. If Amazon or the company would send the broken panels we could replace them quite easily vice shipping back the whole elephant. We are going to contact the company as the return possess on Amazon, is quite daunting and we don't have a box ...or Styrofoam. The lamp is quite nice and seems who ever put it together over tightened the holding screws on the side glass panels and cracked the glass as both cracks resonate exactly from those pressure points holding brackets.

Well constructed light

The light fixture arrived in excellent condition, on time, and looks great. This was my wife's choice and along with the wall mounted fixtures compliments our home. Quality construction, not plastic, is exactly what I was hoping for.

Awesome.

This is great. I also have a porch lamp in the same style outside the room with this lamp. The glass is gorgeous and definitely makes it look unique and high quality. I love the warm light and refined, but still rustic look. My only caveat it that it uses two bulbs and the configuration of sockets and bulbs creates shadows inside the light box on all four sides. The light in the room is even and nice though.

A nice ceiling light for a porch.

Gives a nice look when a flush mount porch / entry lamp is needed. Doesn't look like a bathroom fixture or yet another chandelier. Glass diffuses light and avoids harsh bulb.
