Weak magnets

I use this on the whiteboard in my classroom as a sort of flip chart for learning targets. I had to add stronger magnets, as the ones on this product were incredibly weak. The rods would slide to the bottom of the board.

Stable enough for classroom whiteboard

It did the job for a classroom flip calendar to place on my whiteboard. I realized I should’ve bought a longer one to make the month, year and day fit but since it came in a two pack. I just placed them side by side. Magnets are strong too.

Get What You Pay For

These were some of the cheapest online that I could find for my classroom flip calendar display. You definitely get what you pay for but they’re functional, so good enough.

While these didn't go to our window magnetically like I expected

While these didn't go to our window magnetically like I expected, we still found a way to utilize them and make it work. Read on if you're worried about possibly making this mistake like we did. Our window didn't have enough metal in the area like we had suspected before purchasing. If you're going after these for this feature, take a fairly medium sized magnet along the sidelight window first. If the magnet doesn't stay on it's own then this feature will not work. Now, if you're going after the idea of not drilling holes in your sidelight panels, another afterthought we had - these can still work for you! Here's how, thanks to 3M those nifty command double sided strips work great! Clean the sidelight surface area first and make sure it's dry. Cut 3M double sided strips to size, peel off the plastic on the magnet protecting it for shipment, attach 3M to the item first then apply pressure holding it to the sidelight panel. After one minute, walk away and it's up! We choose to do both sides at the same time so make sure your curtain is on the rod before applying! Double check first but we found this product to be fantastic, even though the magnet part didn't come through for us!

Pay attention to size

These are nice, I just wasn't paying attention to size and when they came I realized they are tiny. I couldn't use them for my door window so I use them as towel holders on the fridge and stove. Work well for that.

Medium Strength Magnet

I purchased two pair of these for each of my sidelight windows. I previously had magnetic rods that made me crazy! The magnets were so weak and the lightweight curtains were constantly falling down after they got bumped. I hoped that these would be stronger and based on previous reviews there was quite a difference of opinion on the strength of the magnet. Well, after testing them out, I feel that the magnets are stronger than my previous pair of rods, but not as strong as I'd like. The rods have a nice appearance and are easy to use. Overall I am pleased with this product.

Slides around but OK

These rods were very easy to install, especially since I had previously bought a rod whose brackets were meant for a wooded door. I didn't realize my door was metal until I broke a couple of drill bits! After seeing thse on Amazon, I tried a magnet and voila! So I ordered these and they are fantastic, The only issue is that the top rods and brackets neet to be adjusted about every other day (they keep sliding down slightly), but that's ok.

An ok Buy

These rods are ok but ordered the wrong size. I will modify the rods to make them work since they will be covered by the curtain anyway. Double Check the size online before ordering. Photos are similar. Magnets are strong and hold a light weight curtain but the protective stickers on the magnets were hard to come off you will need an exacto knife to help. The metal is a bit flimsy but is passable. For all this the product could have been a bit cheaper.

Amazing!!

Who even knew you could get magnetic curtain rods??? Not me! These work great on my patio door with the lil panel I ordered! Only problem is...they are too short to fit on my balcony door... no door is THAT narrow! which is why I ordered the rod. So it comes in a pack of 2, so I just took one of the rods from the 2nd rod and added to my rod. Works perfectly!

Magnets are the best part, rods are poor quality.

Rods came in 4 pieces. 2 lengths weren't enough to make up 1 length. Not sure what had to be done here but I used tape to keep the 3 pieces together so I can at least get the curtain up. The magnetic hooks are of really good quality hence I chose to keep this item and make it work. Not worth the trouble for the price though.
