Variety helps differentiate

Am using in kinder through 5th grade intervention groups. Kids are enjoying the variety of games.

We loves Numbees

We opened it the same day and started playing the Numbee board game. (Haven’t played the others yet, so I can’t comment on those). My five and a half year old loved playing and actually beat both my husband and I on the first go. Numbee helped her to understand mental subtraction better. I love that it switches back and forth between addition and subtraction based on your spin. This is not just mental memorization and repetition of math facts, but aids in understanding of math concepts. We also found it helpful to have some blank paper on the side to write out what the math addition and subtraction word sentences looked like too (both vertical and horizontal), especially when she got stuck on some, e.g., 14-3. She is more of an audio learner, but sometimes physically writing them out helped her get the answer quicker. I fee like would aid in good practice for timed tests.

Great for my 1st grader who doesn't like math

Great games. These games are really helping my 1st grader to improve her math skills. They make it fun for her to practice her addition and subtraction, she is getting quicker at doing the math in her head, and while playing these games, she is wanting to do it.
