Makes a difference

My hair is no longer a mess when I wake up! So far these are great. I have never used satin pillowcases before so I have nothing to compare them to, but they have held up through the first two washes, are soft and I recommend them.

Know your pillow size

Great satin pillowcases. Love the color. If you aren’t sure of the size, definitely take measurements. I assumed my pillows were queen b/c of my bed size. So they are a bit large, should’ve ordered standard. Really like the envelope enclosure.

Shimmery satin

Juicy Couture Satin Pillowcase. Smooth and silky feeling pillowcases. It's smooth on my skin and hair. The set includes 2 same size, long pillow cases with envelope closure which is helpful in keeping the pillows from slipping out of the case which is silky and slippery. The material of the pillowcases is relatively thick and is 100% polyester, so it doesn't wrinkle as easily. The grey is shimmery light silver/grey. They are relatively easy to care for as they are machine washable. Nice satin pillowcases!

Very nice pillowcases but they slide

Review of Juicy Couture Satin Pillowcase for Hair and Skin, Ivory Standard Size Pillowcase Set of 2 Being satin, these are very easy to put on over pillows, even when you use pillow covers. The envelope part of the case is very generously sized, with plenty of overlap so your pillows won't end up coming out like a normal pillowcase. I'm very pleased with these. They wash & dry well, too. I'm not so sure about my hair being less messed up or my face less wrinkled, but it's a good intention. One thing to note though: If you don't have a headboard on your bed, the pillow may slide off unless you have your mattress as close to the wall as you can get. Sometimes I sleep with my head at the foot of the bed so I can look out the sliding glass door. The sheets are 100% cotton, but the pillow is so satiny that it slides away from my head, and I end up not on the pillow at all.

Fancy package.

The package on these pillows is classy. Can’t really go wrong with satin pillowcases. These have a nice tight fold to hold the pillow on it. It’s nice not to fight with zippers. Washes easy and color is great.

These are nice, soft pillowcases

I am reviewing “Juicy Couture Satin Pillowcase for Hair and Skin, Ivory King Size Pillowcase Set of 2 - Silky Satin Cooling Pillow Covers with Envelope Closure”. I like these polyester pillowcases because they are soft and silky feeling. For those that are unsure of the meaning of “satin” vs. “silk”: “satin” is a weave, not the material from which the pillowcases are made. Referring to these pillowcases, the fiber they are made from is polyester, in a satin weave, which is smooth feeling. Silk is a natural fiber, and while these are not silk, they are silky feeling, and they are soft. My personal experience is that real silk is cooler, and silk does not snag as easily as polyester satin. Overall, these are nice pillowcases, and they are properly sized for my king-sized pillows. They are comfortable to sleep on and do keep my hair looking smoother. The envelope closure is okay but not as tailored looking as a zippered closure. However, these are nice pillowcases, and they are true to their description and therefore I am rating them 5 stars.

They've Kept My Husband's Hair from Breaking :)

My husband has very brittle/dry curly hair and struggles a lot with hair & scalp issues. Satin pillowcases have helped him SO MUCH!! And these ones are especially nice. We were really surprised that Juicy Couture pillowcases would be priced so affordably, especially these days, but we're not complaining!! Also, the envelope closure on these are what MAKE them! *chef's kiss gesture* That's the touch that really puts these into 5-star territory! You know how satin pillowcases can be sooooo slippery? Without a zipper or an excellent envelope closure, it's essentially impossible to keep your pillow in a satin pillowcase! Thankfully, these pillowcases have that covered and my husband's pillows have stayed securely in place :D
