Solid Balls for Regular Play

Great balls to play with on concrete courts. Really great for your everyday game. The yellow is my favorite color to see and the balls respond well to the paddle. They might be just a little soft but overall one of my favorite brands of balls.

My favorite Pickleball ball

I’ve tried them all: Durafast 40, Franklin X40, cheap balls bundled with paddles, and these Joola Primo balls have become my favorite. They hit a little softer than the Dura or the Franklin but in my opinion thats been great as the game has sped up so much. You won’t notice a huge difference between these or the Franklins but these have lasted longer in my experience. Also, I have played in about 50 degree weather and they do get slightly harder. Everyone I play with loves them and I’ve not gotten any complaints when I bring them to the court. 3.5 - 4.5 players approved.

Too soft to be a tournament level ball, but great at 40° and below

***UPDATE*** Sure enough, this ball is fantastic at 40° and under. Way too soft at mid/high temps but once you hit about 40° this ball is great. Played this weekend starting at 36° one morning and 32° the next morning. The Joola balled held up fantastically when all other balls were cracking within 1 to 2 games. One ball finally cracked on Sunday morning but it's the one that had see the most play on Saturday. Once temps hit about 45° the ball felt too soft and we switched back over to Core balls. Softer than a Franklin X-40 which is already borderline too soft. These will go back into the closet until next winter to see if they do well at 40* when the X-40 barely last a full game before breaking. Hopefully that will be their niche 70* DuraFast. Also, ignore any reviews that say these balls have seams. They are 100% a rotomolded ball that have a molding mark just like every other rotomolded ball does. I would say the molding mark is less pronounced than most and will be worn off within a couple of games.

CRACKED IN 5 Days of PLAY !

I bought these balls because I believed what was written on the package “crack resistant” not true Played for five days .. and it wasn’t played with every day ! Maybe 10 to 12 games. Don’t buy these if you want a more durable ball

Nice and shiny and durable. I like how the holes were not too big. Prefer these over others. And they have lasted a long time.

Great ball for cold weather play

Great ball as advertised for cold weather play. Played over 2 hours in 40 degree weather with some heavy hitters and ball held up great.

Dear Joola: Do better!

Played in a 4.0+ Ontario tournament on hardwood floor yesterday. Not ONE player had anything good to say. Everyone that spoke of the ball hated it and was super ticked off that Joola forced us to use it for sponsorship reasons. They are out of round within a few points. Durable? No! The ball plays much heavier than other balls and skids like crazy on indoor surfaces. Hybrid? No! Why would Joola think they can get away with designing just one ball? Save your money and buy a decent ball instead of these overpriced things that aren’t worth the plastic they’re made of.
