Socket needed adjustment

Updating my review from 3 stars: managed to find the one on other light in my house that takes a skinny base light bulb to test the bulb and it did work. I was able to confirm that all parts of the light fixture were getting power so I couldn't figure out why the light wasn't working. My FIL came to take a look at it and the metal pieces in the socket (it's not a full metal socket) weren't making enough contact with the bulb. So the one had to be bent. Afterward viola. Light looks great, but bulb came broken. Got it installed, flipped on the switch, and...nothing. A bit disappointing. Now I have to order and wait for bulbs. Without new bulbs, I cannot say for sure that it works. The instructions have typos, which is a tad concerning though.

Not what you think

I liked the idea but, the light is dim and Weak and doesn’t support regular bulbs. Poor lighting for a bathroom. The gold inside reflects in the light and makes everything yellow. I painted the inside white to try to help this. The gold leaf surface is not smooth - it looks a little odd. This would be lovely for a dimly lit yellowish area. A little hard for practical use.

Lovely

We ordered 3 of these fixtures that we placed in a master bathroom for one of our flip houses and they are beautiful against the navy colored wall we placed them on. The gold is a warmer gold, which we were going for as it matches the other fixtures we purchased. Installation was a breeze and all of the pieces we needed were there. They also include a lightbulb which gives off a warm yet bright glow. Very happy with them.

Gives off Poor Light

This fixture gives off poor light for a bathroom. Everything has a yellowish glow. The interior of my fixture was painted a gold color and not gold leaf as pictured.

Aesthetically horrible light fixture

Item arrived completely scratched up even though packaging was fine. The paint on the fixture itself was horrendous and looked like they just spray painted an existing light fixture gold and packaged it before it dried. I could see places on the fixture where it was glued together haphazardly.

Worst. No light is given off and the gold chips everywhere
