brim could be slightly longer

If I am going to make this kind of sacrifice to style, I at least want to get ALL the neck protection etc. This hat is great but be aware that the brim is not super wide and might not provide you with as much sun protection as you want or need.

Great Quality Hat.

Very nice hat & fits well (size L) on my watermelon sized head. I've previously purchased Columbia's bucket hat which is my go to hat. The design and materials are slightly different in comparison, a lot softer and has the added chin strap which can be useful (especially on a windy ferry to Liberty Island). It doesn't seem as robust & hard wearing as my Columbia but time will only tell.

Good hat

Great hat, suits larger heads. Drawstring is useful in wind and for hanging off your kneck.

I don’t look like I’m on safari

I have to wear a hat and hate them. I have so many I don’t wear. I have a large 59cm head so usually have to buy men’s hats. This hat fits with room to spare. The rim can be shaped each time you wear. Although it’s a little large which I prefer it still stayed on my head on a windy, sunny day. This is despite me having cut off the strap. I don’t want to look like a cowboy. Any windier I would simply have put on a thin beanie. This is the only hat I’ve found that doesn’t make me look like I’m on safari or exploring the outback’s. Very thin but good quality and easy to pack. It’s one of the few items I’ve bought that looks better in the flesh than in the sales pictures.

Lovely casual hat

Love this hat. Nice hat to fold up and keep in the car glovebox or bag
