A brilliant three season coat

This isn't bulky, so it fits well over everything but the thickest jumpers and switches, being warm enough thanks to the fleece to mean you don't need very thick tops underneath to avoid the cold on a crisp winter's day. The outer surprised me because of how quiet it is, so no annoying rustling while you're moving, and effortlessly cuts out wind and all but the heaviest rain. With a fleece lined hood, it's going to keep your entire body, including head and neck, warm and dry from the autumn to the spring. The pockets have a similar fleece lining to the rest of the jacket, so perfect for keeping your hands warm and means you don't necessarily need gloves with you. Although there isn't a chest pocket, the way the pockets are stitched means they are big enough for your hands and phone/small wallet, and they basically make inside pockets between them and the lining, so a triumph of German design. The understated design, including a subtle logo, means it is smart enough to wear on just about every occasion with the exception of those which would require a dress coat, and black goes with just about everything! Because of the fleece, it's not as easy to pull on as a smooth, polyester-lined insulated coat when you're in a rush, particularly if you are wearing a fleece already, but it is worth the effort and very comfortable. Size-wise, I am so 6 feet tall with a relatively slim build and bought the 40-42, which has served me well because anything bigger would be too baggy, and anything smaller would be too tight. I'm very pleased by how long it is in the body as it doesn't ruck up above my trousers, nor is it ridiculously long.

110% hard cold windproof

Wow this is a fabulous jacket. It’s not a thick padded jacket but boy it certainly keeps the harsh ‘Beast from the east’ chilled wind away,that’s no joke! I really couldn’t believe it. It’s thin fleece lined which feels good on the skin. Not that sure how waterproof it is,it’s certainly showerproof. Recommend

Unlike most jackets the hood on this has a very snug fit which is great. Very well made, warm and has classy too.

Comfortable and stylish

Less than 24 hours after ordering it I've just returned from a run in the rain and very impressed with the comfort, fit and feel during the rainfall

Good jacket warm for a light wait jacket.

No dislikes just a good all round Jacket keeps you warm and dry in light rain windproof keeps cold wind out .
