Why Watkins has been around since 1868…

Integrity. Natural ingredients. Wholesome, fragrant, flavorful. Competitive pricing. That’s what comes to mind for most who are familiar with J.R. Watkins. This wonderfully aromatic lemon soap that leaves hands clean and soft is just one of their many quality products. (As another reviewer said, their vanilla is also incredible, hands down our favorite.) There are two adults in our home, one works full time away from home, the other at home. We have a small dog, do our own landscaping, cook from scratch and spend a lot of time in our workshop on DIY projects, so we wash our hands constantly. We keep a dispenser next to six sinks - 3 bathrooms, kitchen, shop and the basement snack/coffee bar, and use about 4 gallons of liquid soap a year. Out-of-town guests a few times a year and those who come for an evening use some of it. That’s why it’s so important to have soap that doesn’t turn our hands into sandpaper. Anyone who uses it in our home loves the scent and the way it makes their hands feel. Without hesitation this soap gets my highest recommendation. Grrrr-ate !

Likes - No more plastic pump bottle waste. (Now about the pour pouch pkgs ???) Love the scent Love the portion size (3 refills per pouch) Easy pour pouches, too. Dislikes - Are Plastic pouches (Recyclable???) Review - So far so good ! I have two dispensers (1 kitchen n 1 bath) Hated the plastic pump bottle waste. The Amz brand (Presto???) was good too. (Until they ran out ???) I like this brand too ! So far, so good !

Smells wonderful

What can I say, its soap. It smells great, is a great value, simply just fill up your old bottles. I really do appreciate how the company is coming up with different container sizes that pack down the more you use it, no one likes having a huge bottle with 10% product left in it you dont want to throw away, yet those bottles take up so much space! Pretty much has been my go-to for soap fillups for the past two years Would recommend to friends & family, 5/5

Wow that is ALOT of soap

Perfect for mixing with distilled water and using in an automatic soap dispenser. Lasts forever. I'll never use it all. I have to give some of it away.

Good buy

It's my first time trying this soap. Used it several times and immediately noticed it does not dry my skin out. The scent is wonderful and is not overbearing. I'm impressed and will purchase again.

Smells good, nice lather, my favorite!

I use these to refill some pump hand soaps in my short-term rentals. I've had people ask me what the soap was. While I could provide something cheaper (it IS just hand soap) I like knowing that it's high quality and that people like it, since they are paying to stay. Will continue to buy

????????????Wonderful lemon scent

Firstly, super obsessed with lemon soap, so that was a plus. After reading the back label which says don’t put in a foaming hand soap container I was upset as that’s all I had on hand. I poured the refill soap into a popular brands empty bottle of foaming soap. About 1/4 of soap and filled it with water. I shook it up vigorously for about a minute. Ta-da. A few pumps later I had foaming hand soap. This bag of says it will refill a J.R Watkins soap dispenser 3 times. I refilled my bottles about 6 times by adding water. Still smelled and worked wonderfully. Will definitely be buying again. I love Watkins products.

Soap is diluted

This soap smells amazing. At first I thought I bought the foamy ones by mistake because the consistency was not good. However lately I've found that hand soap I purchase from Amazon is very runny/diluted, possibly not stored properly, I don't know. I definitely will not buy this at full price, but might reconsider if price is significantly reduced. I purchased 2 but won't bother with a return, does smell very nice though.

Not particularly impressed with this handsoap refill and unlikely to purchase again. Scent is quite strong. If you're sensitive to scents, this is not the soap for you. This soap is VERY watery and you go through it quickly, so not really worth the price. Going through twice as much and buying more packages to accomplish the same thing negates some of its environmentally friendliness. I dunno how one can be disappointed by a hand cleanser but I was definitely disappointed.

Good Soap - No Complaints

A little is all you need and goes a long way. It lathers up well and leaves hands feeling clean. The scent is pleasant, kind of ocean-y, and works for anyone. The smell is very pronounced and present, so likely not a good choice for folks who are scent sensitive. I like the packaging and appreciate the less waste. I had no issues with shipping and no leaks. Price is good, the soap smells nice, and cleans my hands satisfactorily; I would buy it again.

Another winner from J.R. Watkins. it's a favorite in this household as it isn't anything you'd find other than feeling like you bought this from an affluent specialty store. This scent transports your mind to a beachfront villa in complete luxury. Simply special and unique.
