FANCY ! Now my desserts look EXTRA

This little tool is great for pasta, pastry & cookies. Fits right in the palm, switch different cutting patterns easily. My old pastry wheel was wonky and wobbly. This pastry cutter is held in the palm, makes cutting solid and stable. It is easier to cut straight lines. Used this to trim dumpling wrappers, empanadas, ravioli, pie crust and even holiday sugar cookies (see photo) !

Not as smoothe as i would hope

I am not a fan of this pastry cutter. The cutter wants to rotate on its own to cut the pie crust. The wheels don't spin as freely, they can drag across the pastry rather than cut it. It is made in 3 pieces for easy cleaning, However i find that to be one if its biggest flaws. It has fallen apart twice while using it. I have bought another brand and it works way better.

Awesome Pastry Cutter

I love the wave design. Very sturdy when rolling, fits comfortably in your hand. A little tricky at first to open up to clean. I wish it was a little easier to see the cutting area. But it still doesn't deter from the product. I just needed a bigger crust for my pie dish to make it fit my pie dish. But so happy with how the lattice turned out.

Great pastry cutters

I found these at the supermarket and took a chance on them. I didn't realize they were Hutzler until I got home and I was pleased because I have a lot of their vegetable storage containers. When I made Sourdough Cheese Herb Crackers, I used the perforated wheel to cut out my crackers. I had no problems with sticking or tearing. Note, in the picture above, the misshapen crackers on the cookie sheet were not the fault of the wheel, they were at the end of pastry or I just messed them up and they became cook's treats. I like that they come in a little box that I can store them in when not in use. I highly recommend these!
