Great Feeder. See tips below.
Basic feeder. For the price you can't beat it. The drum is also tapered at the bottom which is key. Varmint guard is no joke. Squirrels, birds, larger cattle....won't go near it twice (see pic). TIP: place a tiny drop of superglue on the plastic base of the pin that goes against the timer wheel. The pins will back out over time or the holes will widen a little and the pin will not engage the motor trigger. The motor is also 5-10 min slower than the time on the wheel. Use the small gold knob in the center to make small adjustments. Approximately 3mm before the number will make the motor trip at the correct time.

rotate on timer cover is horrible and wont withstand any intrusion
rotate on timer cover is horrible and wont withstand any intrusion. took 10 minutes to get it on and then not sure it was on. cardboard timer needs to be removed before applying timer pins. there is no test button so you dont really know if it works prior to use. trying to figure out the current time and feed times on the timer is difficult.you need to be careful when filling it that the weight of the drum is not on the timer. i can assure you the varmit buster works. this is a good idea but a few changes will make it great.

To much cutting corners
The feeder works , you do have to glue the pins in the back of the timer to stay in - the funnel design is good, and the zapper works - but the reason for the review is due to their battery, its useless and does not work pass 4 or 5 days , it only fills to 70% of the charge - looks like they cut corners on the battery to lower the price of the feeder

Other than that looks good.
The timer is crappie but it works. Can't get the duration dialed in. Other than that looks good.

The tub and hanger portion of this feeder seem to be okay. The timer and feeder part are where any quality goes out the door. The timer itself is analog and runs on an AA battery. It uses thumb tacks to set the time it goes off! It may work okay, but I choose to try to return it for a refund before putting it to use. For an update on this order, Amazon worked with me and gave a full refund. Thank you Amazon!

Better value than buying from a large box store!
Came in a very large box, but my husband was excited and was able to put it up that afternoon. Has worked better than expected.
