An excellent zipper

I like an outside zipper not the type that you press two strips together. I kept ordering these, but got the two tape sliding together, kind under the name of the zipper because I’m disabled with a serious tremor disorder. I was frustrated and even angry when they sent that tight but pictured a zipper. But now I have gotten the zippers and they’re wonderful.

The bags are tough and durable, making them great for storing a variety of items without fear of them ripping or tearing. In addition to their sturdiness, the slider closure is a nice touch, making it easy to open and close the bags without worrying about spills or leaks.

The bag is strong and firm and can be used repeatedly. The clasp slides smoothly and is not easily damaged. I love using them for everything from food to clothes and socks. The Storage version does not close effectively

I had previously bought the gallon size Hefty freezer bags with the blue closure and really liked them. This batch with the red closure are Storage bags and are thinner, and not suitable for the freezer. The zipper itself does not reliably close the bag - after closing the bag part of the seal remains open. I will search out the blue closure "Freezer" version of these bags and buy again - the red ones are to be avoided...

Too Small and Very Thin Plastic????

There is NO way that the bags I received are gallon sized, very small and not very durable looking. I'm not sure what happened with these, perhaps a mistake at the factory? For whatever reason, they aren't what I needed or expected. Heading back for a refund.

Adjusting number of stars down from 5 to 2.

3rd time purchasing these bags. Downgraded from 5 stars to 2. They should up their quality control. Half the bags (qt. or gallon) will not zip up or down. I will no longer purchase Hefty and will switch to the competition.

Brilliant zip closure

Having now used these zip closure bags, the press together to seal type bags, don't get a look in. Zip closures are, by far, vastly superior to the press to seal type bags that are more readily available in the supermarkets. More manufacturers need to start making these, and also in bigger sized bags for storing larger quantities in the pantry, fridge or freezer.

They are strong and don't open

I use this product for storage of food basically. I have never had a bag brake open or spill. Good quality.
