Hemming

I successfully hemmed some tall, heavy blackout curtains using this tape. I did two strips, side-by-side lengthwise along the bottom of the curtain and ironed as long as I could without causing the fabric to burn. The tape wasn't strong enough to adhere the corners where the curtains were factory hemmed from top to bottom. Which is fair because that is 4 layers of heavy fabric in a small area. So I threw in a few quick stitches in each of the corners. 7 months later and the hems are holding strong without any peeling whatsoever. No globs of fabric glue leaking out to the front side, and no visible stiches along the bottom of the curtains!

Great for hemming

I hemmed my son’s khaki pants using this. It worked much better than their hemming tape, despite the description which states not for hemming. It was actually easier as I could glue one side, take off the paper backing, line up the pants just right, and iron the other side. It’s a stronger hold.

Works lightly

The media could not be loaded. Doesn’t have a very strong grip but works fine. The tape melts into the cloth after ironing so it creates a glue like film.

This clothing tape works great, I would buy it again and I recommend it!

Mixed bag . . .

My project was to cut an organizational emblem from a shirt I could not wear and affix it to a cotton/poly vest from a medical scrub store. The tape was easy to use and gave me a very nice looking product. I washed it two or three times in cold water without detergent and, while it doesn't launder very well, it looks easy to reapply. I suppose the silver lining is that I expect to remove the emblem at the end of my contract and use the vest without any residue. That might not be a negative for some projects.

Didn't stick well

I followed the instructions and it came undone. I used it on curtains for my girls room and the next day it came undone. Wish I didn't cut those curtains, they were expensive...bummer but now I know not to buy this again.
