Only lasted a few months
Bought this as replacement parts for an existing unit that came with my house. The push button had failed and replacing the battery did not help. I followed the manufacturer instructions to pair the device and it still didn't work. After a few months the push button on this unit also failed in the same manner.

Easiest and most economical wireless doorbell. Great deal!
Very reliable and easy to install. Loud clear signal. I bought a second one for the other door.

World's LOUDEST doorbell! JK
My landlord purchased this for my apartment, and it's an affordable, good solution for locations which cannot be hard-wired. It runs on batteries, in both the button at the door and in the doorbell chime box. Installation was EZ, the doorbell box itself is small and unobtrusive (see dimensions in the product's description). It has 3 "ring tones" that sound like recordings of clock-tower bells: a simple, 2-tone "Ding dong," Westminster & another long 14-or-so-notes melody for lose who like a longer alert. But OH MY, IS IT LOUD!!!! And there is NO way to adjust the volume! (This is also in the product's Q&A.) My dog and I and our guests are literally startled every time it rings. My dog is afraid to lie under it, so points here for something that finally keeps her off the sofa. I put the doorbell in a closet until I needed the space, and now it's covered in a 1-inch foam and bubble-wrap "box" I crafted from Amazon packaging: way to recycle! A picture would be priceless, wouldn't it? Overall, it's great value for what it is and it works well, but a major drawback is how LOUD it is - which might be EXACTLY what you're looking for!
