Looked great at first but after only 2 months outside underneath a tree the paint has faded. Not what i expected for what it cost.

I have lowered my rating for this product because I've been reading reviews from several years ago, and they mention my same complaints: Primarily, peeling paint when it arrived and considerably more in the two weeks it has been in the garden. Obviously, the company has heard of this problem and shipped my gnome knowing that it was already showing damage. It's a very cute design, but costs enough for a customer should expect better. I had tried to call the company, but the system says that it is not working due to technical difficulties. Consumer Beware.

DON'T BUY. Will not survive outdoors, even in shade.

Thoroughly disappointed in this item. I placed the gnome in a SHADE garden and after a couple of months, the paint was faded and peeling ( especially hat and boots ) showing the white resin underneath. This thing cost FORTY THREE DOLLARS, what a waste of money! The only good thing I can say about it. ( and this is why I bought it) is that it has a very sweet face, while many of the cheaper gnomes looked vaguely creepy. Don't bother with this junk.

So Cute and Well Made

I am familiar with this vendor and they do have quality products. I wanted a gnome where you could see the face and wasn't too small. This fit the bill and looks so cute between our lemon trees. Good quality and boxed very well for shipping. Highly recommend this vendor and product.

A subtle and classy addition for the garden.

We'd wanted a garden gnome for some time, but I'd always been put off by the bright colours and cartoon-like features that most have. These Toscano Dagobert ones, however, have a more traditional look to them. Beautifully crafted and subtly finished in earthy colours, this gnome looks terrific. I also like the fact that there is a range of gnomes in this series, so we can add little friends over the coming years. It arrived well-packaged (in polystyrene blocks).

Great design and details

This gnome looks much better than many others I’ve seen and was worth the discounted price from Amazon. My son took great pleasure in finding a spot for it in our garden and it adds a little something extra to the garden borders. We also bought a couple of fairies from the same manufacturer.

Purchase for a present, arrived very well packed and quick delivery. It looks ok but a little disappointed with the weight as it is quite light and think it could blow over in moderate wind, so may need to find a way to secure it

Surprised. It's not hideous. Actually liked this little guy. Luckily it was a gift' so it was passing through to a good home. Hope he's happy.
