The rock hold sets are great, the hardware not so much

As the title says... no complaints about the rock holds so far (had them installed maybe 6 months at this point) but the hardware is sub-par. No reason to believe that any other sets would be better in that regard. If I were installing again I'd buy the rock holds, throw out the hardware and use galvanized stuff from Home Depot to begin with. I will be replacing my hardware within a year or so by doing just that and I would have preferred to just do the work once.

Too hard for bare feet!!

Holds are perfect if you intend to install them outdoors when shoes are worn. We attempted to use them on an indoor rock wall and the “lip” of the holds are so aggressive that it hurts our kids feet. We will have to replace them due to this.

Good Buy

These rocks worked perfectly. They are heavy duty. Not only are our kids able to climb on them but also my wife and I. The only reason I did not give them a 5-star rating is because of the hardware. The bolts are not very long. We attached these to 2x6's. I had to use different mounting hardware.

looks and feels great

built a climbing wall on a play set I made from scratch, and everybody loves it - even grandpa took a shot at it, and climbed it. The kids had no problem going up, and they're 4 and 5 years old. It attached easily, and shows no sign of not being able to hold me, and I'm 300 lbs now. I recommend it.

Out with the old, in with the new

Recently refurbished an old play set that a friend was getting rid off. The old hardware on the set was so damaged by the sun over the years that what was once green was now white. I purchased these grips and not only where they easy to install, but they've brought new life to our set!

Great for our rock climbing wall

Installed the "rocks" about 2 weeks ago. Our grandson loves his climbing wall to get up to his tree house. Had also picked up some more at Lowe's which were of same quality, etc. but cost twice as much per rock. (Only needed 4 more).They will hold the weight of an adult so likely 3 of our 4 current generations will enjoy them!
