I loved the color and reflective quality of this collar

I loved the color and reflective quality of this collar. Unfortunately, I don't know if the reflective strip lasts very long because my dog, as she does with any collar, was put out on a tie cable that was too long and somehow managed to use the cable and a bush to saw the collar in half within a month or two of having it. Now that she has a wireless fence I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this collar again, it was very well made and good quality.

Works well but for how long?

This took a bit to open the clasp and connect it the first few times but now is easy. After two months of use I have noted that some of the reflective material is coming off. It does not appear to withstand much in the way of friction or scratching. I have a black lab and leave this on him at all times because where I live has no street lights and is hilly.

Very good for my use.

It's a light weight reflective collar, long relative to the 5/8" width. I have a 100+ pound dog but use a "low impact" collar to just hold a safety light. It would rate 5 stars, but for the quick-release clasp. It works, but is small and requires a bit more effort to open and close than needed with larger clasps I've used. I am very pleased with the price to value ratio.

Well.... it certainly isn't perfect.

I love the idea of this collar. The color is perfect for my mostly white dog with very pink skin tones, white eyelashes and all. But, within a day or two the reflective material started to wear off. Then it started peeling off in chunks and the webbing stretched so much that I hand sewed tacks into place so the collar would stay on her head. So, we're still using it because the color is perfect and the hardware is well made, but I pulled off the rest of the reflective tape so it would stop shedding into everything and the collar continued to stretch a bit after the tacks.

Not very high quality.

I will admit I was looking for something inexpensive as I have a cattle dog mix and expected her to grow out of it quickly. I was drawn to the reflective nature as it would allow me to easily find her when we are playing in the yard at night during the evening bathroom break if she runs to the other side of the yard. In that the reflective nature works very well, my flashlight will pick it up immediately. However she has only worn it off and on for two weeks and the reflective strip is flaking off. She has almost outgrown it so it is a moot point for us, but if you are purchasing for a toy breed don't expect it to last.

It's perfect for your dog when you're out for a walk. I have a pug and when I walk him the reflective collar lets people see him.

Excellent and Stylish

Read the reviews about the reflective part coming off. Bought it anyway. I have had no issues with the reflective aspect of this collar. Everything is intact and it's been 3 weeks. My dog is an inside dog (not sure if that is relevant). The collar is strong and durable. During our evening walks the reflective part helps to keep us both safe. Wonderful product, extremely satisfied!!

Great collar but tiny clip

Great dog collar, fantastic reflective stripes, however if your dog has a long coat it's worth bearing in mind that this will be covered 99% of the time! The collar would have had five stars but the hard to open clip fastener lets it down, this 'could' be because I have thick fingers...and it is a very small clip... But does seem to be very secure indeed. The metal lead clip is welded, which means its much more secure than other collars with a non welded bent clip in its place, and another thing is that bearing in mind this is for a big dog (collie) the collar is on the slim side. Maybe its just me?......

Looks good but ineffective for visibility

Sorry - bought two of these for my Springers - looked great but after a week the reflective strip started to peel off. Still look ok for a pink collar but if visibility is necessary then go for a collar with the reflective strip stitched in rather than just stuck on!

Reflector strip didn't last

The collar and fastener are well made but the reflective strip has just been ironed on - with the inevitable result. A few weeks of wear and it has peeled off -so don't buy this collar for its reflector!

Glow in the dark really effective

Bought for walking yorkshire terrier in dark, looks quite neat and smart, does whats expected, reflects well and snap clasp is strong

great!

it's a good collar for doggies at night time. reflective line works really well although i ended up getting a full led collar one. but i still keep this one for casual leash walks at night. very sturdy
