Great Toy

It’s very sturdy for my 11 month-old grandson who just likes to throw and bang things right now. I have a lot of fun with it though when playing with him.

Cute, but frustrating

The positives are the Mickey Mouse design and the fact that the toy is made in the USA like other Green Toys. The main negative, and it's a big one for the recipient, is that the train cars will not remain linked together while the train is being played with. Even just pushing it along the rug will cause the train cars to separate. The other issue is with the openings for the shape blocks. Only three of the four are on the top, which is a little confusing at first for little ones. In addition, the train car for the shape blocks is not large enough, so the shapes often block the third or fourth one from being pushed through the opening. I was annoyed with similar poor fit problems on the Green Toys tea set and only bought this set because I could not find another American-made train for toddlers. The parents do not allow any toys made in China due to chronic problems with toxins in paints and inks, some of which have been found in highly regarded toy brands.

Great toy! Great packaging!

First off-the packaging on this toy is great! So easy a 2 year old can open it and assemble without help. No plastic, no zip ties etc. the toy itself is great, and I can see it lasting through many kids.

Colorful and entertaining

I purchased this eco friendly train for my infant grandson. He is now sitting up and enjoys playing with all the different shapes and colors. Perfect for a first toy for baby!
