Perfect

These trash bags are awesome. They never rip and hold a good amount of trash. We have been using these for years. Getting a subscription is a must. Works out perfect for the family. Perfect fit in our trash can.

Decent Smelling Bags, Not Overpowering, Slightly Short, Reasonable Price

NOTE: I ordered the Lavender Gain ForceFlex kitchen trash bags (13 gal). The bags are rolled up, not connected to each other so you don't have to tear one bag off from the next. All the bags are in one thick box, and there is no perforation or pre-set opening to pull the bags through. I just lifted one half of the glued lid and was able to fish the individual bags up that way. These smell pleasant, not overpowering or too chemical-smelling. I prefer using lavender because it's said that some bugs & critters are repelled by that scent. I did notice that when I put a bag in my 13-gal trash can, it is shorter than the generic stretchy bags I normally use, hanging about 8" above the bottom of my trash can. I imagine that when the bag is filled with trash, it will stretch all the way down with the weight and not tear. If that's not the case, I will come back to update this review. I don't normally use expensive brand name trash bags, since I don't want to spend my money on something designed to be thrown out anyway. However, this box of 110 bags (a year's supply for us!) is listed at a reasonable price of $22 at the time of my order, which is a pretty decent value for this brand. I can't give it a full 5 stars until after I've used them a few times to assess their strength and fit, but out of the box so far they are a strong 4-star product.

So far so good

I was a little worried because they felt thinner than the bags I'm used to. But so far they seem to be doing the job with medium to heavy loads of trash. They stretch nicely and, so far, there has been no tearing. They seemed a bit short at first, but they fit our 13-gallon kitchen trash can just fine. They have a lilac smell that makes our kitchen utility closet smell nice but you don't really notice the scent once they're in the can. The box they come in serves as a fairly convenient dispenser and the bags come out individually, which is a nice plus. I'll update this if the bags wind up being less sturdy then they've been so far, but I'm happy with these.

Nice

I compared these to the kirkland brand that I normally use, these are just a tad bit smaller but really insignificant. The drawstring fits snug around my trash can, I actually have to pull it hard to get it all the way around so I know it will stay it place even with the heaviest of trash in it. I really like the force flex so you can put pointy things in there and be relieved there are no holes when you are pulling it out. I really like the smell too, when I put it in my trash can even my dog came to smell the scent of the new trashbag.

Delivery was terrible

I love the bags, I have always bought glad but I'm very disappointed in the delivery, driver seen I had dogs but threw the package inside my fence without no phone call or honk, every other driver either calls me or they honk the horn, so now I have half the bags I paid for because the driver was unprofessional

Defective bags

Maybe I just got a defective box, all of the bags are thin and ripping at the seams. I throw the box away, hopefully they will give me a refund.

Same old Glad, whole new smell.

Price during review - $.19 per 13 gal. bag I've always gone in for force-flex bags as they are your best bang for buck for a week of heavy, poky, sometimes yucky garbage. These are a step up with a special fragrance. The tensile strength of the bags seems to be on par with the original ones (orange is the original and black is the Lavender-scented bag). In addition, these bags make your trash can smell a bit like a laundry room, lol. Tbh, I prefer the neutral barely-there scent of the original, but these work better at keeping out smells after 2-3 days (roughly the time we take to go through one bag). Can't go wrong with Glad, or Lavender. So, recommended!
