Perfect filter for your air purifier.

Along with being perfect for what you need, it DOES what it is supposed to do. A little upset with the delivery as the filters were in a bag instead of a box (like they would normally be) and were crushed by another heavier item that was in the box with it. Those filters are already thin and delicate, so I hope they did NOT rip.

Carbon Activated Prefilter

These carbon activated prefilters extend the life of the main filter. They do a great job.

This secondary layer filter helps a bit with dust/hair

Every time I change this little black strip filter it takes a few seconds and the results speak for themselves. I see quite a bit of dust and hair on the filter, which turns the filter almost white/light grey. I have two of these filters running almost 24 hours a day, and at night they go on high to sleep. You still need to dust some, but the quality of air is reasonably better. You can see when you remove the filter how much dust you didn't have clean from your home. This filter goes on top of the HEPA filter on the outside. This is the second layer filter that increases the longevity of the main filter. Competitive pricing, and a useful product. They have stuck on just fine so far. This works decently enough for allergies, pets, and dusty areas/states. I swap these out when they turn light with dust, and (I change the main* white colored HEPA filter when it looks darker than what I prefer.) Simple logic.

Tack one over the internal filter and extend its life. Works excellently well. Packaging can be improved.

Extends the life of the internal filter. I tack one OVER the original filter (it fits well as another layer), and can even vacuum these (while still on the purifier) whenever I vacuum and it keeps the dust off so the carbon filter can do it's job. Been using these since the time I got the purifier and I have no complaints on their function. The only persnickety detail I don't like about the product is that the way the filters come packaged means that as soon as you open the package to get one filter out, the rest are exposed, too. So you have to put the remaining filters (it's a pack of 4 'liners' essentially), in another bag. A zip-lock like baggy as packing would'a solved the problem.

Don’t buy

At first I thought these were great and the first one worked. When I went to replace it with the next filter, my air purifier wouldn’t work. I played with it and put the filter in and out several times and finally my air purifier worked again. Then my dog knocked it over and stopped working again. I couldn’t get it to work. I think it has to have an exact placement or it won’t work. I bought the name brand filter and my air filter worked right away and hasn’t had any issues since. I will no longer buy this brand as it is hit or miss if it will actually work so a waste of money.

Feels much cheaper than original one in unit

These definitely do not look like the original carbon filter that came with the unit. Not only are those replacement filter much thinner, but the texture of the thing is off. The structure has bigger holes that feels like they're gonna let more dust pass through. They feel cheaper and less effective. I did not find any proper replacement yet so I will probably keep vacuuming my old one. Let's hope the HEPA replacement comes with a genuine carbon filter.

Not sure if necessary

There’s no way to tell if these charcoal filters make a difference. This entire unit does slowly filter out dust particulates but not all of them. It’s more peace of mind this whole thing. I’ve vaccuumed these filters clean a few times so try that before buying brand new ones!

Better than the one that was included

These filters are thicker than the one that originally came with the unit. Fits nice. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in replacement filters for their air purifier.

Not worth it

Doesn't even come in a box, literally wrapped in saran wrap ... sent. These filters are about the same quality as the ones that come with the filter but the size is wrong, these are wider and it didn't fit inside well, had to trim a bit to make it fit. Terrible product for the price, not sure if it'll extend the filter life.
