Original OEM part. Easily installed and fixed a leak in the dishwasher.

Install Videos helped, BUT Was Not Accurate!
A video I watched showed a pro install it 100% from the bottom only of DW. You can REMOVE the bad sump 100% from bottom but not install it 100% from bottom because it is likely that a plastic grid basket (called the GE WD22X10077 Sump Cover and Filter) that fits inside the sump was knocked loose. FIRST... You can just pull that plastic grid part out from either the top or bottom of DW. Once that plastic grid part is out of the way go ahead and clamp on the sump's BIG HOLE to the DW, and then attach the smaller clamps hole clamps. NEXT turn DW upright and remove the spray arm and filter screen. Then simply push that plastic grid part back in place from the top and it will SNAP into place. Then just put the filter screen and the spay arm back on. Easy.... once done.

When your GE dishwasher dumps it's fill on the kitchen floor, you likely need this!
I'm sure that this silicon-like flexible sump dampens a lot of noise and contributes to the smooth and quiet operation of our higher end 8 or so year old GE Profile dishwasher. But I'd trade a bit of rumble for something more chemically resistant. The old multi-port sump boot became soft, sticky and ultimately totally perished. I stuck my finger right thru it while lying on the floor trying to figure out where the leak was coming from. The good part is the boot is available. The trouble occurred when I found that one of the pumps also has a similar silicon nose seal that rotted out, and that was NOT available as a separate component. I eventually made my own with rubber O-rings and zip ties to hold them in place. Crazy that you have to do this.... If I get a few more years out of the machine, the expense and time will have been worth the trouble. I also had to fix an arm (the steel stiffener separated from the plastic), so the unit has entered the death cycle!

Perfect Fit
This was a perfect replacement for my dishwasher. The part # on the original didn't match, but GE must have updated part numbers. I was able to replace it myself, and save from buying a new dishwasher!

Good replacement Part
Original part cracked (have no idea how or why), luckily saw where water was coming from and took a chance ordered the new part. The part is perfect fit but due to tight space and various clamps that have to be removed, you must take your time. However after the sump is properly situated and all clamps tightened , we have success! No more leaks. BTW part DOES NOT come with clamps, my picture was taken AFTER i moved some existing clamps from old part to new part

So far so good.
I replaced this part on my dishwasher because a mouse chewed through my prior one. I did it myself because the repairman and part before was over $150 to replace. This was a little work to replace since I had to remove the dishwasher, turn it over and place mesh over it to keep future mice away. So far, this had worked pretty well and my wife enjoys having her dishwasher back. It's definitely worth it if you are a little bit handy.
