I was very particular about the barstools I wanted for our island in the kitchen. I needed something that was leather or leather-like so it would clean easily, swiveled, had a back, went up and down to different heights, and ideally had arms for comfort. This is actually kind of hard to find for a decent price so this fit the bill. I like the gray color a lot, it's a nice tone. I would have considered another color but the other options didn't match my décor. They arrived in a box that you had to put together but that was fairly easy (10 mins each). The chair has a generous size for an average-sized person and I like that I can tuck the arms under the overhang when someone isn't sitting in it to save space. Probably my only complaint is that while the chrome arms are "covered", it is just a very thin material stitched together that slides and has no padding. So it's nice to have arms but they aren't padded and plush and comfortable. And the leather cover on the arms kind of slides off so I am going to try to glue it somehow. Otherwise, happy with the purchase.

These are good chairs, but they are slightly smaller than I thought they would be based on the other reviews. The arm rests are a bit low, but at the kitchen island we can lean on the counter. The kids (10 yo) fit well in the chairs, while myself and husband find the back to be a bit lower than comfortable and the seat a little shallow. I'm not returning them because they look great in the space and will fit our needs well enough, but knowing what I now know about the size, I would not order again.

These chairs look good but they are not nearly as comfortable as I had hoped they would be. They're a little too stiff and compact in the seating to let you relax in them. And because they're a single pedestal they don't seem to be balanced enough to relaxin. The seat is too short you have to sit up straight. The sea isn't long enough for you to slide in and lean back it's very stiff so if you're looking for something to be comfortable as you sit at your bar these chairs are not for you

Perfect
I ordered 2 of these and one week in ... I love them. They arrived in perfect condition, very limited assembly. I am 5'4 and 150lbs and the size is perfect for me. My BF is more weary of them at 6ft and 200 plus pounds .. I think its in his head. The color is spot on with the picture.
