Mostly okay

I’ve used this about 8 times since I bought it and it works pretty well. The plastic isn’t the best quality and my did for a large crack im assuming just from normal wear but I put tape over it and it still works ok. Would probably purchase another version of this with higher quality plastic if I had to do it again but overall this works as described. I do like that it has a fence hook and it’s lightweight and portable.

Great Tool for the Money !

I chose this brand because of its nice price point while it offered all the features I was looking for including the optional shoulder strap. The very little assembly needed (if there was one, I don't recall anymore) was super easy and quick. The only issue I have with it is that when it scoops up the ball, it feels pretty tight with not much wiggle room (I'd say maybe another 1/4" or so may have been a lot better) such that I have to place it right on top of the center of the ball when I press on it. Now, to be fair, I've only used this tool several times so perhaps it needs time to break-in. Best of all, the price was right for me and it definitely serves my need !

I would NEVER recommend purchasing this pickle ball retriever

The first time I bought this item approximately one year ago the plastic tube cracked when it’s simply fell off where it was hanging on the fence from a height of about 2 feet. It was approximately a year old so I didn’t complain. I ordered a second one now the second one has broke within three weeks. The polymer/plastic hasta be the cheapest on the market. It’s ridiculous that an item that should be more durable being used on Hardcourts can chip in break so easily. I had several similar ball retrieve tubes for decades in tennis, and they lasted for years. I would absolutely not recommend buying this whatever the plastic tube is made out of its brittle, and was even sharp when broken. But on the second ball retriever to see the black polymers simply crack when it hasn’t been used to pick up more than 300 balls is really disappointing ! Hard pass if I were you looking for a pickleball ball retriever. P.S. I sold them if ever write reviews that are disappointing. This one is an exception because both items failed with regular recreational use in a very short amount of time. TJT Naples, FL

It's to fragile

I was playing pickle ball i had pickel ball tube standing up on the fence the wund knocked over and the tube just brooke. I have been trying to get in touch with franklin company but all i get we are unable to answer the phone at this time leave phone number and someone will get back wiyh you. Well it has been 5 days and i have not received a call from amazon or the franklin company.so disappointed with this product and that i have not received a call. I receive a response from amazon and a a return label so i can send back tue tube I should be receiving the new one today and i will send the broken one mback. I love the tube you pick up all the balls at one time.. So thnak you for takeing the time to response and replacing it .

Picks up balls fine broke before we could use it.

Good product, but a kid fell on it and it shattered like glass before we even played a game. Just seems like it shouldn’t have broken that easily

Flimsy

I bought this for our pickleball club, and the second day using it, the plastic loop that holds the shoulder strap broke off, which is not a big deal because the strap was worthless. After a week of using it, the tube was cracked with a couple of holes, but still usable. It would be better with a handle, but it’s not difficult to put your hand over the top to push down on the ball. It might be fine for home use if you are gentle with it, but does not stand up to multiple daily uses. UPDATE: After 15 days of use, the plastic tube broke in half.
