Good, basic griddle spatula

Overall, I like this spatula. I like the feel of it with the thinness of the metal - it give some tactile response when handing things. What this needs is some rounding on the edges to get under pancakes or eggs. Spraying the spatula with some oil certainly helps, but having a bevel on the edge would make this even better. It's a great value tho.

Works well

This is bigger then I thought it would be! It works really well and is good quality. Will be getting alot of use this summer on the grill. No complaints!

Heavy Duty

This is a heavy spatula. Cook bacon with it, great. Flip french toast, great. Cook and flip a burger, great. Flip a pancake or an egg? Nope. Because of the blunt edge, it snags the pancakes and eggs and folds and tears them. Don't use with thin or soft foods. Besides that, this is a great tool in your kitchen.

Sturdy enough for the money

This spatula is about what you'd expect for the money. The actual spatula portion is large and constructed well enough. It is thin but not flimsy. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is definitely not beveled, so it's probably thin enough to get under and flip most items, but I would not use it for anything too delicate. The handle is plastic and feels a bit cheap, but again, it's not an expensive spatula. It's balanced enough and feels decent in my hand. For the price point, it's not a bad spatula and I'll feel okay using and abusing it, knowing it didn't cost much to begin with.

Great for the grill - other uses less so

I agree with most of the reviews below. We've found that this turner is excellent for flipping burgers or any other typical use on a grill. It's very long and easy to get all of a burger or buns, etc. However, it really isn't well suited for a griddle and we also found it tended to kind of "snag" a pancake when attempting to flip it and ended up ruining it. Will be keeping it for grill use - as long as that's what you need you're in good shape here.

Good for the money

Nice basic spatula. Metal is good thickness (flexible but not too thin), size is good and it holds comfortably. The handle material is just plain plastic, but what else can you expect for just ten bucks. My only negative (hence 4 stars) is that one of the rivets holding the handle pieces together is raised a bit above the plastic pieces and is a little loose. Not enough to fall apart, I think, but as a knife maker myself, this is not first-grade workmanship. But then again - it's just ten bucks!

Not Beveled

This is overall a pretty sturdy spatula. The metal runs through the handle, it's all one solid piece. It's big and has a little heft to it. The description says 'beveled' but it isn't, at all, and I was really hoping for one that was. I made pancakes tonight and, as I predicted, because it's not beveled, it caught on the doughy part of the pancake when trying to flip it and made it hard to scoop under. I tried to take a picture of the edge comparing it with a small spatula I already have with a beveled edge. Other than that, a decent spatula, but the description is wrong.

Good value. Pretty decent quality.

It's larger than expected, but works fine for my needs. Not bevelled, but I don't see that as a deal breaker. The price is very good. Construction quality seems pretty solid. 4 star rated.
