Cool comfort at a price.

Not the cheapest sock on the planet, at an average price of over $9 a pair at Amazon. They are however one of the most comfortable socks I have worn. Really. (To be fair the only pair I like more are the very same brand in the over the calf steel toe sock I wear daily to work.) Good support. Cool, comfortable material blend. They keep my feet cooler and relatively dry on a good day of walking around town shopping, and sight seeing/people watching. Dry feet when you are active is in my opinion always relative. Feet sweat, and in many cases get wet from outside sources as well. I would recommend theses socks for everyday wear and light to moderate activity level. Something with a bit more cushion might be better for you for long hikes or heavy pounding court sports. Fox River has become my brand of choice when it comes to socks, they have never let me down. Get them to a $7/pair price range and I'll gladly make them a 5 star product.

Tend to shrink

Nice to have more cotton content, but they do tend to shrink, so air dry or get larger size.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a pair of socks.

These are great socks! They fit well, keep your feet dry and cool and the padding is very good. I bought these on a whim as my wife is always telling me I should buy better socks. Hey, why do I need anything better than what Target sells? Well.....she was right. *#&^$# !!!! These are far better than my normal socks and I will be purchasing additional pairs. While the price may seem a bit high it is truly not. For example, the ones my wife buys are $14 a pair. Still since she is an avid runner those are worth the cost as well. Truly these Fox River socks are the best I have ever owned.

and provides good wicking action

The medium size fits a 10D foot snugly and thus does not move around in your shoe, however it is not too tight to leave on all day. The sock is very well constructed, adds some support to your arch, and provides good wicking action. It is also soft. Have not yet cycled through the wash more than a couple times so don't know how long it will last but so far I would recommend these highly. Update after over a year and over 50 washings and wearings per pair: the top remains smooth, flexible, unraveled and retains it's firm fit to the calve. Great socks.

nice socks

These are very comfortable socks with good cushioning. They fit well with good support. I thought that they were quick drying but that isn't so. It takes most of 24 hours to air dry them. However, the advertisements don't say they are quick drying so misreading the description is my error. It would be useful to indicate that they are NOT quick drying in the advertisements. They are so comfortable that I've bought additional pairs for everyday use.

Affordable, cushioned, good fit

For the price these are great socks, not terribly expensive, well cushioned. I wear a size 9 and hesitated buying these in a large, I think with a medium they would fit better and travel less, as in not rotating in your sock. So far however, have had no issues, looks like they will hold up for the long haul.

Greats socks, but they pill terribly

I loved these socks when I purchased them and never wrote a review. I was recently going through Amazon purchases and came upon several reviews. After washing them a few times, they pill terribly. I bought a pill shaver just for them. I have a thing about socks and hate socks that pill and won't purchase again. So, if you don't minding the pilling, buy the socks.

Love their socks, they hold up a long time and are great for workouts. Of course white gets dirty overtime but the socks last and last

Warm and dry

Use them for skiing and snowshoeing. They work great!!! Keep my feet warm while wicking away the sweat to keep my feet dry.

Amazing socks

Amazingly comfortable socks to wear! I am wearing steel toe boots in the middle of summer and my feet no longer feel hot and sweaty and stinky any person who needs to wear steel toe boots all day should grab a few pairs
