Completely wrinkled and disappointing
If you are mainly looking to get the coat, then go for this costume. The hat, however, is way oversize, resembling a Mad Hatter Alice in Wonderland type hat more than a stovepipe hat...not to mention the fact that it comes completely and totally wrinkled and the wrinkles are impossible to get out! All of the pieces (the vest, the pants, the coat and the hat) come completely stuffed into a plastic package and very badly wrinkled..they look as if they'd just been crumpled up into a ball...the wrinkles are similar to those you'd expect to see if you rolled up a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" paper into a ball. The instructions say you must not iron the pieces so one is left wondering what to do? Steam them??? The beard is almost completely useless because it falls to pieces the moment you touch it...it was a nuisance to clean all of the little black shreddings from the beard off the shirt I had on; I just opened the plastic bag it came in...I didn't even take it all the way out. Again, maybe one could spray the entire thing with hairspray and hope that would help stop the crazy molting process. ??? Well, so I bought a different beard at a local store since I couldn't use the one that came in the package. I bought a different hat at a local store since the hat that comes with the costume is basically useless. The coat worked, though...I was able to just use a lot of steam from my iron to iron out parts of the coat. It did cause the sleeves to become stuck shut, so to speak, just F.Y.I. Anyway, as I said, if you just wanted the coat, then buy this whole package.

Not 100% but close
The costume was not expensive so it would be unfair to compare it to higher priced ones. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the hat and beard. The hat is just terrible and entirely too tall. The beard that comes with it is also not good. Yes Lincoln wore a stove pipe hat, but this one looks more like the cat in the hat’s hat and awkwardly tall. Needless to say we will purchase a more stately hat befitting a president and my husband has let his own beard grow out. The long coat, pants,and tie are fine, and like I said the cost was minimum. I suggest the company not even include the hat and beard; save the company money because most will purchase those separately for better quality anyway.

This is not very high quality, the hat came crumpled up, the pants are a joke, buy it will still pass for a cheesy Lincoln get up if you can find a different hat, have short arms and your own pants.

Poor quality
Quality of the costume not as aspected. Was very cheaply made for the price paid. Had stitching issues as middle of coat was undone.

Not worthy of Abe
Low quality fabric that looks terrible no matter what you do to it. Hat is crushed by tight packaging. Not worthy of an icon!
