Impressed!!

Got this for our 4 year old and after replacing the batteries (ones in it didn't work) this thing came to life! I am more impressed with this and all the things it does than any other interactive toy I've seen! If you buy it as a present def make sure to buy a pack of batteries in case! Im not positive what kind it takes right off but im sure it shows in the details!!!

Came opened with no batteries.

It’s pretty cute and works ok- it’s not super responsive. I mostly wanted to write the review because the one I received had been opened, the strings that hold the monkey in place had all been cut, and the “included batteries” were not present. Disappointed that it seems I was given a used, tested, returned product and it was missing the batteries.

Daughter love monkey, only issue, it come with batteries but dead ones, so we have to get some new ones.

Batteries had corroded the contacts

This looked a lot more creepy in real life, so I think my grandbaby would have been scared of it . . . but the main reason I returned in it was that the batteries inside were so old that the acid had leaked out and corroded the contacts, so it didn't work even with new batteries! Maybe this is an instance where it was really not that great of an idea for the company to include batteries? Or at least perhaps they should have kept them separate in the box!

Cute, but dead batteries

This looks cute, and is in its original packaging. It came with dead batteries, though, so I'm not sure if it even works. It's a present for my 5-year-old daughter, so I'll have to wait until after she opens it to see if a simple battery replacement will get it working. Annoying, for sure.

Very engaging, plush and fun

This thing is awesome! I spent $30 on a furreal toy and ended up returning it because it was pretty terrible. Not interactive and def. Not plush. I spend $12 on this monkey toy and it is great! Its exactly what you would want in an interactive plush toy. I see the price now is $30 and I'd have no problem paying that. What makes the toy great is that it does the right things to engage a young kid. It makes fun noises when you spin it, when you throw him up in the air, when you kiss it, and it takes naps. It doesn't keep making noises when the toy isn't in use. It conveniently goes into standby mode and all you have to do is press the ear to re-engage. Great toy, Im glad I bought it for my 2 yr old.

Great toy to get on a lightning deal!

The only thing my daughter wanted for Christmas was a real pet monkey. :) She was so sad that there is no way she's ever getting one. So she said she might want a stuffed animal monkey. But we have a million stuffed animals and I didn't see the value in getting another one. So imagine my delight when I accidentally came across this on a lightning deal for about a third of the regular price! I figured for that good of a deal, it was worth taking a chance. The monkey itself is bigger than I was picturing, and she LOVES it. She's been making it do all of its tricks for two days straight and shows it to everyone that comes over. Definitely a big hit! I wouldn't pay full price for something like this, but for twelve bucks, totally worth it!

Great option!

My son wanted an interactive pet toy, and I didn't want to spend $50-$100 on another certain brand so I decided to give this a try for $16. I don't regret it! This monkey is honestly hilarious. The kids and adults in our family get a laugh at the things it does. It has a lot of different things it does but what my son loves most is that if you shake it it farts. My only complaint is the batteries were dead when it arrived.

Very happy niece

This was a gift for my 7 year old niece’s birthday and she loves it. It was exactly what she wanted. My only issue was, when it arrived the ‘try me’ button didn’t work, so I had to completely take it out of the packaging and change the batteries. I couldn’t give a child a gift that didn’t work, that wouldn’t be fair. Otherwise, a very happy niece. :-)
