This fairy bulb is not so fairy

This fairy bulb seemed like the perfect light to place as a little night light; however, it doesn’t change colors as description states. The grandchildren would have loved it IF it would have worked properly. It will literally go one round of multiple colors and then it just stays white and that’s it. I attempted to reach out to the manufacturer to see about a possible replacement, unfortunately that was a flop. They wanted a “lot number” but I no longer had the box therefore, I could not give them a lot number. It’s not like it wasn’t working because as soon as I received this along with the little lamp that I purchased just for it, I turned it on and it worked beautifully by changing the twinkling colors. So, I placed it in the room that it was bought for and it wasn’t until a few days later as I was sitting in this room, I began watching the colors as they were going through the color chart and all of the sudden—it just went white light. Like poof—twinkling colors disappeared and nothing more than white light. I can’t do a return because I threw the box away since it “was” working so that’s my fault. Not going to order another one just in case this happens again. Will look elsewhere for another fairy bulb with hopes it will change colors. Too much trouble trying to reach out to the manufacturer over and over while getting no help from anyone along the way. Lesson learned and note to self—do not throw away the box that packages come in unless you know for a fact that the product works exactly like it’s supposed to. But it all fairness….if you’re not really concerned if the light will change colors—then definitely buy this because it really is adorable at first but then not so much afterwards.

Beautiful lighting.

The color is clear glass. The ads make it look black or smoked. I knew this before purchasing and got exactly what I was hoping for. I have a 3 light fixture and with 3 of these bulbs the lighting in the room is mellow. Not enough light for easy reading but just enough for good general lighting and doesn't interfere with TV, etc.

Nice light, looks great.

Over my kitchen sink I had a glass penant light, removed glass, installed a cage and added this light for a holiday effect. Changes colors and looks great, the glass is not as dark as in product pictures though. Love it.

Barely noticeable change in colors

The bulb is too subtle in color change, and each color isn't very distinctive in shade.

Clear bulb with slowly color changing lights. Perfect Nightlight!

The media could not be loaded. The picture made me think the glass would be black. It is CLEAR (which I prefer). The lights slowly go in and out, so it is perfect for my use as a nightlight. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s exactly what I wanted: clear bulb that fits a standard lamp socket that slowly changes color for a nightlight. Definitely not bright, so it’ll be easy to fall asleep with this!

Perfect for my use.

I bought this bulb for a lamp I have over my bed. I didn’t want anything too bright, but bright enough to read. This works beautifully.

Not as wonderful as it sounds

Very dim lighting I wouldn’t pay more then 3 bucks for this item.
