This is an awesome grader

We used the type of grader with four sides. This one is so much easier to use and clean up after you're done.

What I like most about this grater is it's height. One long pass grates quite a lot. The handle is perfect and roomy for medium to large hands. An important feature because a too small gap between the handle and the top will press your knuckles uncomfortably against the top of the grater when you tilt it back. And the large handle provides more stability so you can better control the grating surface for the grating hand's motion , less wobbling, fewer accidents. One of the best and rarest features is the large inner cavity. This allows quite a bit of grated material to build up inside as you grate which is great when you are grating, for instance, a large block of cheese. With smaller capacity box graters, you have to keep stopping to dump , then continuing. Also the large box is wonderful for cleaning! You can put your whole hand inside even holding a little palm brush and you can reach every inch. The base has a nice slip-resistant rubber ring around it so it won't slip forward when you tilt it back to grate. Stays put! It has all the most popular grating sizes and a nice mandolin blade on the side for slicing veggies. It comes with a nice collection box, but I never use it. Years ago I purchase this grater and have used it almost daily for 10 years. I was delighted to see the same grater was still being offered so I ordered it and was pleased to see it was still made with the same strong materials. It is SOOOO sharp! Grating is a breeze Family loves it. I actually gave the old one to a friend because it still works fine.

Arrived with broken tray.

Workd well, but arrived with bottom tray cracked and broken. I didn’t want to take the time and trouble to replace and return.
