Trusted old brand, Farberware

Love the taller/narrower profile--still plenty of room for a steamer basket. I like the glass lid. Good strong handle. A nice, shiny sturdy pot, good solid weight. I'll have it for years along with several old Farberware pots and pans I have. Even the oldest ones shine up nicely.

Quality Product, Good Price

With cookware getting so expensive, this product is on time. Light to handle, yet sturdy and well made. Attractive. Not cheap, but a good price. Pleased with this purchase.

Okay pan, doesn't fit electric burner size

Nice sturdy pan for the price. However can get a hot spot if anything burns and it's difficult to clean if that happens. The base is smaller than my electric small burner creating hot hands/arms if you need to stir frequently. Also, you need to use a pot holder for the handle on lid, it gets quite hot.

Gorgeous and well made

The media could not be loaded. This pot is truly designed well and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It has good height so no spilling, a nice heavy bottom with thinner sides for even heating and quick cooling, sleek mirror finish and the handle is elegant. Highly recommend!

I wish...

I purchased the Farberware Millennium set of stainless cookware and wanted to include the 3 quart saucepan that the set didn't include. I searched for one and was delighted to find this one, sold individually. I absolutely love the tulip style shape of these pans, but on the first use of the 3 quart pan, this happened. I think they refer to it as "pitting", with a rainbow effect as well. When I googled the cause, the results indicated salt as the culprit. Give me a break...salt belongs in food, at least in my kitchen! No, this set didn't break the bank, but paying 30.00 for one pan, only to have it turn ugly after just one use, is inexcusable to me. I'm really thinking of returning it, but if salt really is the issue, won't it just happen with a new one? I'm new to stainless steel cookware, so I don't want to spend a small fortune to learn with, but I am really beginning to think that I should have tried a different brand, which I am saddened by because Farberware has been around for years. I love the shape, I love that the handles stay touchable during cooking, but I don't like my pot looking old after 2 weeks of use. I did order the Amazon 12" stainless skillet because Farberware doesn't offer one, and I am really impressed with it. Maybe I should return my Farberware and replace with the Amazon brand. I really wanted the Farberware to be great! Sigh...

High Quality

This pot is great! We use it mostly for cooking sauces and vegetables. It’s easy to clean but I’d suggest a good soft scrubber meant to use on that kind of pot. The pot is on the heavy side. It’s built to last for sure.
