A nicely made puzzle and not as difficult as it looks. No missing pieces!

This was more fun than I thought it would be. Each area is uniquely colored, there is a nice variety of piece shapes and everything is a good quality. I just wish EuroGraphics included a photo of the puzzle so you don’t have to keep holding the box lid for guidance.

Difficult puzzle

Very difficult and frustrating

On a scale of 1 to 10 this jigsaw puzzle is at least an 8+ for difficulty. I've been putting jigsaw puzzles together for decades, but I found this one so frustrating that it may never get put together. The pieces are very small, but also very weirdly cut and they seem to fit with other pieces very well, so you never know if you found a match or not. Also, for this difficulty level the manufacturers should have included a poster, large enough to guide you if you are going wrong. This is supposed to be a pleasant past time and a challenge, but not so frustrating that you give up on it. The picture and my vanity sold me to find something more challenging than the ones in the past, but I found this to be very annoying, instead.

Putting it together was fun and the print is high quality

We did this puzzle and then hung it (cheaper than buying the poster!) and receive compliments on it often. People say they can't tell it's a puzzle until they get up closer. Putting it together was fun and the print is high quality.

Great image- missing pieces

Great puzzle that was very difficult to complete- but fun! Image detail is fantastic, but puzzle is missing 2 pieces- which is absolutely maddening.

Difficult, pieces poorly cut

Puzzle size -19 x 27.5 Pieces - 1000 Piece size - mixture of very large and very tiny. (See photo.) Difficulty - Super difficult I like a challenging puzzle, but not when the challenge comes from poorly fitting pieces that lead you to wonder if you have the correct piece. I had to continually go back and rework the puzzle. Notice that Amazon has me tagged as a top jigsaw puzzle reviewer. So I am not a novice who just needs more practice. I love the picture because it’s different from the usual jigsaw pictures, but this was more frustrating than fun. Not recommended.

Beautifully printed

This is a most beautiful picture and I really enjoyed completing the puzzle, but be aware that the pieces are SO difficult to fathom. There are very few conventional puzzle shapes and even the edge pieces are not always what they seem to be at first glance. When finished you will certainly feel a sense of achievement!

Good Quality but Still Imperfect

This will be a reiteration of my other Eurographics (God Speed by E.B Leighton) review. The pieces are strangely cut (such that one section will look like it's missing one piece when in fact it's two weirdly shaped ones) and come with excess bits that weren't cut cleanly off the pieces (these are obvious when the puzzle is done). The watermark is ugly, too, regardless of how small it is. The crowd is blurry and the colours aren't so great there but since the original is like that it's to be expected. Again, for the price I paid I wish that the minor defects in the puzzle weren't there because I plan to glue these when I'm done and I don't want the extra bits and the watermark to detract from the puzzle. Other than that, the puzzle looks great and is fun to assemble.

Nice puzzle, bright colors

Nice puzzle, bright colors, it's a pity that there are so few historical puzzles. Important Notice : It should be useful to note the thickness of the pieces of the puzzles to buy. In the heritage from my aunt I found several puzzle with only a thickness of 1 mm witch is insufficient and very difficult to hold the pieces together. "The Accolade" = 2 mm = good. By the way can you tell me the thickness of the pieces for the puzzle "The girl I left behind from Charles Green" (1500 pieces) ? Thank you, best Greetings Jean

Very good quality jigsaw, super subject being a painting.

Beautifully made jigsaw, very interesting to complete with unusual shapes. The finished picture was spectacular. I would encourage anyone to buy it. Most enjoyable way to pass lockdown.
