A challenge

If you like a super hard puzzle, this is for you.

Great, But Not For Beginners

First, why 4 stars instead of 5. Upon opening the puzzle, there were several pieces that were still connected, and had to be cut apart with a hobby knife. Also a number of pieces had a very narrow part, or "neck" that was so narrow that they were very likely to be bent, or even broken. This was a great puzzle! The pieces were well cut, except for the problems mentioned above. The very large area of blue, gray, and white made the puzzle more difficult than the usual 1000 piece puzzle. That is why I would not recommend it for a beginner. One other thing to note is the shape of the pieces. This is not one of those puzzles that has all rectangular pieces that fit into a grid. The pieces are of widely varying shape and size. Whether this make the puzzle easier or harder is most likely a matter of opinion. But you should be aware of it before buying it.

I am only giving it 3 stars because my husband ...

I am only giving it 3 stars because my husband got it all put together and there were 3 pieces missing. He worked so hard on it that I didn't want to take it apart to send it back. he was going to shellac it and give it to our daughter for Christmas but that is not possible because of the missing pieces.

Challenging and Not in a Good Way

Ok so all of the pieces are pretty much the EXACT same shape and color (see photos) ...who came up with this? It makes it impossible to place the sky and ice pieces without just doing the guess and check system. I regret existing

Hard? YES!

Was finding this jigsaw so difficult. Who knew there were so many shades of white? Did another puzzle while doing this one, just to give my eyes a break. It will be finished - there is only one I've ever given up on. Love E/graphic jigsaws. If you want a challenge then try this penguin and chick

Everything I look for in a Puzzle. Warning: Challenging!

This puzzle was a great find since I was looking for a high level of difficulty, amount of pieces, graphic content and overall quality of the puzzle. The pieces given are all differently shaped and range from small to big pieces. The only thing I may have to warn before buying the puzzle is its difficulty.. I'd rate it at a 4/5 difficulty. Overall if you are looking for a nice challenge and awesome finish.. this is the puzzle for you. I would greatly recommend and was a great buy for me!

Great puzzle!

I bought this puzzle because it looked both cute and difficult, which it ended up being. If you're looking for a little more of a challenge, this is a great puzzle to buy. Pieces were also well-cut, and the photo itself is very pretty.

due to the snow in the picture, there are zones that are almost completely white; this adds to a very challenging puzzle. It took my wife almost 3 times as long to complete this one compared to other 1000 piece puzzles. She loved it
