Gets the job done
This is a hard one to rate.... the heels fit and they are actually comfortable. I was worried they would be too small or whatever. But they were just right... and the padding on the sole is thick and comfortable... Now on to the weird part. Shoes look used. Little pile and lint balls on the soles that can’t be from... the factory. They didn’t smell bad or anything and the bottoms looked Unscratched but the lint balls gave me pause... like uhhh WTH. At this point, I just need the shoes to practice and I’m not wearing them to prom so I’m not even going to make a big deal about it. Also some slight defects, so the heels are not the most luxurious. They are meant to be seen from afar okkkkkk so when you kick them off, hide them lol. Knocked off a star for the poor design and lint balls... they got and extra star for surprisingly comfortable fit.

They do the job for figure competitions
Are these shoes comfortable? NO! But are we in the business of comfort? (I hope you're answer is no). We're in the business of painful workouts and weeks of dieting. I think we can manage a few minutes in these shoes. Why go through the pain? Because they're still better and more comfortable than the other porn-esque shoes out there. Pros: -They don't slip on the bottom. This is a HUGE bonus when you're on a potentially slippery stage or walking on people's tan and oil spills backstage. -They have a soft, cushy lining for the ball of your foot as well. This prevents your feet from slipping inside of the shoe - with sweat and tanning products this may happen. -The plastic strap around your foot has little air holes for your sweaty feet. Nice! CONS -The plastic part that covers your toes is better than a thin strap that digs into your feet. However, it is still far too tight. I usually wear a 9.5 and I orders a 10. I have narrow feet. The strap is so tight that my skin turns white from the pressure. Again, this is better than the converse scenario, where the strap is too loose and you slip everywhere. So, just wear these around the house while you practice posing to loosen them a little. -The strap that goes around my ankle is built for people with larger ankles. I had to add holes for the doo-hicky to go into. This is odd, because the shoes was clearly not made for ladies with wide feet, but seems to be perfect for ladies with larger ankles. Oh, well, it's not hard to add a hole on the strap.

The down low
I NEVER leave reviews because I've never had issues with products or feel the need to make something known... In this case where all the reviews are slightly conflicting I feel like I should. I normally wear a size 9.5 in athletic shoes AND heels. A size 10 is usually too big, and a size 9 is too small. I have medium width feet... probably closer on the width spectrum to a wide foot rather than narrow. In this case I bought a 10. My toes don't overhang and actually have about 3/4 of space between the tip to my toe. I'm sure a 9.5 would have been perfect if it existed. I was unsure when buying these shoes because this company seems to create a lot of other heels with very off shoe sizing, and even though this one seemed to have the best reviews with some people saying the size fit as expected, I was still wary. My heels arrived today and I quickly opened the box (which was in fine condition) and pulled them out. As soon as I put them on I noticed the tight and narrow front, but after you wiggle into them the vinyl gives a bit. After about 10 minutes of wearing them I noticed my baby toes feeling like the life was being sucked out of them. It's vinyl... what can you expect! But here's the tip no one seems to share... you can stretch out vinyl to actually being comfortable. Just grab your hairdryer and blow warm air on the tight strap for a few seconds until its soft and quickly place your foot in them. Keep them on for a minimum of 20mins while standing in them (so your weight is all in the ball of your foot keeping the vinyl stretched). Presto! Perfect competition shoes that are as comfortable as you're ever going to get!

Great for first time competitors
First time stepping on stage for body building and I’m glad I went with these. They’re easy to break in and affordable. They are narrow but the elastic will give after you break them in. The sole is actually more comfortable than expected. If you’re a first time competitor you definitely want to give these a try. You won’t be disappointed

After a quick couple minutes with the blow dryer I was able to comfortably fit into the shoes
I ordered these shoes to wear in my first bikini competition as they fit the regulations set forth by my class. I chose to go with the extra secure ankle strap style as I've heard too many stories about competitors slipping on stage. When I received the shoes and tried them on for the first time they were extremely snug but I found if you take a blow dryer and slightly warm up the plastic it stretches around your foot easier. After a quick couple minutes with the blow dryer I was able to comfortably fit into the shoes. I've spent hours in them practicing my posing and have not had any issues, blisters, soreness, etc. I do practice on a wooden floor and have yet to slip in these. One thing that I see as a negative to these shoes is that the inner soles of them are a very soft fabric which easily absorbs competition tan, dirt etc. Since so many competitors purchase these shoes it would almost be beneficial to use a dark fabric or different material so that it doesn't show so much. All in all, this is a very comfortable shoe that I wouldn't mind purchasing again.

Comfortable and stylish
Beautiful pair of shoes bought them for a bodybuilding competition and posing practice. They are incredibly comfortable and stylish. True to size for narrow feet; however, for people with wide feet, they will need to be stretched before use. Great quality materials, very comfortable.

Love my high heels
Nice high heel for bodybuilding shows. The only thing I was a little disappointed with is that one of the straps had snapped in 2 after my second show, but nothing a shoemaker could not fix. They are still going strong.

Definitely size up!
Ok so as everyone said - I feel like it’s mandatory to get the next size up! I like my heals snug. I usually wear 6.5. I got a 7.5 and, as many other buyers described, the plastic band near the toes was way, way too tight... I couldn’t fit my foot in. But as some others suggested, I used a blow dryer to blow heat on it. It then loosened up, and it fits perfectly. Just be careful not to use too much heat for too long because I feel like it could make the plastic part TOO big!
