Works like a charm!
The first one I received was in an opened bag and the spacer and screws were missing. I promptly notified the seller and a new one was shipped out the next day. This replacement doesn't have the same wire positions as the original so you have to make sure that you read what wire number you are removing and make sure you plug it into the matching number. Be sure to use the spacer and screws enclosed in the package or the knob will stick up higher than the others. I have never replaced one of these, I am terrified of anything that requires electricity. But with the main breaker off to the stove, it took me about 20 minutes to disassemble, remove, replace and reassemble. Super easy and it worked! Now my left front burner turns on and off again, as it should.

There are no instructions and it comes with a spacer because they are longer but fixed out stove

Although not the same size as the unit it was replacing (original unit was discontinued), got it into place and it works great!

No instructions, stem about 1/8 inch longer, overall works great
There were no instructions included in the package. However, I just added the spacer to the stem and used the orientation that had the OFF position at the 12 o'clock position. This resulted in the longer switch dimension running horizontal. This seemed like a problem due to the larger dimensions extending past the switch recess but the stem spacer eliminates the issue. Since there were no instructions, I just labeled the wires and swapped them over after mounting the new switch. I did not have any issues with the installation. Even with the spacer, the stem is like an 1/8 inch longer than the original as shown in the last two pictures but you really can't notice it when using the stove.

IT FITS.. Pls read
The switch is a little lager than the original and the shaft slightly longer. Install the included spacer and it will match the height of the original.... the terminals are in different positions The switch is marked with lettering just as your previous switch was. There should be L1, L2, H1, H2, and P next to the terminals on the switch. The black wires would go to L1 and the red wire would go to L2. The H1 and H2 will go to the elements and the P terminal will have the wire from the indicator light would attach to it. I hope this helps.

It works but its too big
Well, we researched first and it said that this was the replacement part for a Kenmore electric stove switch so we bought it. It came in the mail a day late but the worst part was it was almost twice as big as the original part. And the stem that holds the switch cover was way longer. It will fit though, just be careful where you plug your wires. But in the end, the stem is too long so your cover will be about 0.5 cm higher thatn the rest.

It worked good for one month
This switch worked well for one month. It has failed within one month of light usage. Now it’s not turning on the element and the indicator light for “element on” stays on. I hope the seller or Amazon sees this review and offers a replacement.

Not the right replacement part for a Kenmore as stated but I did make it fit and it works.
