Saved me money
For some reason ice was getting jammed in the shoot of my 3 year old refrigerator. I didn’t think much of it until the little rubberized flap fell out. Obviously, that’s a bigger problem so upon further examination I realized that the part that actually holds the rubber flap was broken. I was pretty cranky after trying to find the actual part on the manufacturers site and finding nothing. So, I looked up a repair video and luckily the gave a part number I could search. I was quite surprised so see such a wide range of prices for the same part but decided to go with the more affordable option. It arrived quickly and was pretty easy to install while watching the video. If you’re unfamiliar with how something like this works I recommend taking pictures while disassembling. So far so good. All total it took about 15 minutes to replace and probably saved me a couple hundred dollars by avoiding a repair call. Highly recommend.

Looked up installation on YouTube and found step by step instructions. Installed easily watching video.

Part works perfectly
I had to replace the Refrigerator Ice Door Motor (Part# 24189301) and the Ice Chute Assembly (Part# 241688401) on my Frigidaire ice dispenser because the flap door was sticking open. I discovered that after 12 years of daily use, the gears were partially stripped on the Assembly and the Motor lost some of its power to close the flap door. Words of advice: if you have the same problem, make sure that you know exactly how the spring fits into the dispenser and how the flap cover connects to the Assembly when you put it back together. Also, after you have connected the assembly, make sure you hold it in the open position while reconnecting the Motor. Hope this helps someone.

ship too slow, good part
Would have given 5 stars, but delivery was way too slow...easy to install using video on utube. Dispensing ice again.
