Did the trick. In my case, it was simply an aesthetic application, rather than structural. Rather than cutting down a new marble sink counter for a reused base, let it over hang and paced corbels below. (Shown only in primer)

Very good looking and best finish care
These are great products but be aware of two things: 1: If you need them to be used for heavy dutty applications you will need to drill pocket holes on them otherwise consider using them as decoration only. 2: Colors and sizes will vary if you order some now and then decide to order some later. I first ordered a 4 pack and then a 2 pack with like 2 week gap in between.

Good corbels for the value
My only complaint on these is the hangers on the backs of them are pretty much useless if you're installing them under an already installed or existing countertop. Other than that theyre great!

Substantial looking bracket
Nice quality wooden bracket. The basic Rubberwood takes on wood stain well. There are two recessed mounting slots in the back, but you have to either nail or glue it to the shelf. I used two finishing nails and glue to mount it to the shelf. Very nice and substantial looking bracket when mounted on a 6 inch wide oak shelf.

looks great
I was hesitant about ordering these, but they turned out very well. The wood grain was very smooth with no knots - that should make it easy to stain if you so decide. Painted obviously looks great don't you think?

Quality piece, simply styled , at a good price
I was surprised by the quality. It is well made & more than hefty enough for my shelf project. The pale tone was fine, but I painted them. They took paint well, but uncertain how well they would take stain. I appreciate the simple style.

More attractive than metal brackets
Bought these corbels to replace the white metal brackets that were used to support my granite countertop. Thought that they were too large, initially, and may look like an albatross. However, once they were installed and painted to match the wall, they look , absolutely, marvelous. They are not too ornate or too plain. My contractor suggested the size and installed and painted them. Kind of pricey, but I’m happy with them, anyway.
