Never too old for Old Maid

The grand kids and I have had many laughs playing with this Old Maid set. Even as they get older, they are always up for a game. It’s such a quality set with whimsical pictures that I have purchased it several times to give as gifts.

Looks good and feels good in the hands

I introduced my grand daughter to the game of Old Maid when she was only 3 yrs old. She fell in love with it. We had a cheap deck that cost $3.00. After 5 years we still like playing the game. So I decided to search for a pair of quality cards. I really would have liked a set with the traditional Old Maid image from back in the day (1950s and 60s) when I was younger. I did see a used set but I didn't want to purchase fearful of the true quality. These cards are of good strong material with a nice coating that will keep the cards from bending easy. The cards are just the right size to fit anyone's hands. The pictures are adorable and lots of fun. I bought 2 sets. One for my house and one for my grand daughter's house. I believe who ever purchase these Old Maid cards will enjoy them.

Cute cards!! We play this deck fir years. It comes with 2 blank ones- not sure if this on purpose? Make your own pair? Whatever we love the game.

Not for kids.

The cards in This Old Maid game are not easy to read or match up to play the game. I would not buy again.

Size matters

These are the best illustrated Old Maid cards that I have come across, but their size is a drawback. They are larger than regular playing cards which makes handling them a little tricky, especially for children to whom this game is presumably aimed. The quality is good and the cards are nicely packaged.
