Eastman dielektriske varmefældenipler måler 3 tommer i længden og har en 3/4 tommer hanindløbsrør (MIP) forbindelse. Den dielektriske nippel er grundigt galvaniseret for at forhindre rust og korrosion. De selvrensende beslag samt den kraftige Teflon-foring forhindrer disse varmefælder mod korrosion. Disse dielektriske nipler har en klap, der forhindrer udslip af varme, når flowet stopper. Dette par varmefældenipler er designet til brug på vandvarmerens indløbs- og udløbstilslutninger. Dielectric Heat Trap Nipples

They were just what I needed for my hot water tank.

Heat trap flap gets in the way.

Install was simple. threads matched and fit properly. But I couldn't get the hose to screw onto one of the nipples because the plastic heat trap got in the way somehow. Just took it off to finish the install.

poor packaging

Product was good but cheaply packaging causing loss of washers.

No arrow on the mm showing direction.

Only thing I wish they would do is put direction on them. Just so I wouldn’t second guess myself. But. Silent. The ones I had with balls were getting to my nerve. Glad I got these.

Not Dielectric

These are good heat trap fittings but they are not dielectric. True Dielectric fittings have an electrical insulator so to break any current from flowing from one end to the other. Twice I made that mistake but not this install. I purchased dielectric unions for on top of the heat traps.

This is the good ball type check valve.

These are great. They have ball blockage instead of the more common flappers. I'm using them to prevent backflow for a solar water collector. Brass check valves stick and won't open for low pressure flow. While these don't stop all flow, they restrict the passage well, and easily open/close when placed vertically. Great quality; hard to find.

They fixed my leak on my water heater!!

I have a 32-year-old Reliance water heater both factory installed nipples were leaking and i replaced them with these Eastman Dielectric heat trap nipples. I feel like i have a new water heater now. They worked out great with no problems.
