Not Quite

I love the style of the shoe, but my size wasn't available, so I tried to to size down and get a wide. Didn't work out how I thought it would.

I wear a size 9EE women's shoe. I ordered this Eastland Buck Taupe Suede shoe in a size 9D (Wide). The fit is fine on me. I am diabetic and have plenty of toe wiggle room (3/4 inch). The shoe is very comfortable, not "snug" at all when worn with a thin to medium sock. I think a thick sock would make it a little snug in the width. I could probably get along fine with a size 8-1/2D if I wasn't going to wear socks because they do run a LITTLE big. I do not like a shoe that makes me feel as though I am walking on a pillow so this shoe is just right for me - not really "cushiony" but very comfortable and stable. The fit in the heel was just a wee bit big but heel liners solved that problem. The shoes are casual and look great with my jeans. These shoes do not make my feet look big or wide. I am glad I ordered these as I have been wanting a pair for a long time.

Beautiful Brown Suede Shoe

Loved these shoes when I was growing up and love them again!! So comfortable and versatile. I wear a 7.5 women's and originally ordered that size, but it was huge on me. I returned for a 7 and it's better, I might be able to go to a 6.5 for it to be a perfect fit. But, I don't want to risk it. The 7 is good for me. They are rigid until you break them in & I ScotchGuarded them to keep the suede looking nice in any weather! Love them and so glad I bought them!

Typo in listing

The listing need to be re written. I originally bought a 7 1/2 for my daughter thinking it was men's sizes. So when I got them I wondered why they were too small. They send you women's sizes, now it is probably a typo but that's really confusing and now I have to send back my original pair to get her correct size.

Shoe runs small

Hello, I'm beyond the 30 day window to return I love the shoes however, they run just a tad bit small instead of 8.5 I will need a size 9. Would this be possible to exchange. Shoes never worn.

Order the size you always wear

I was concerned about the size so I ordered a size up. They were way too big so I returned them. The shoes were beautiful though. I decided to try a different shoe for now but still might order this in my usual size.

Sturdy construction.

Slightly smaller fit than expected (compared to Rockport). Well made. Comfortable. Sturdier construction than some suede shoes. Rounder toe than other styles.
