Decent shoes

The insoles are very stiff and uncomfortable especially if wearing dress socks. I replaced them pretty quickly after wearing for an extended period. That’s the only flaw I find in them. The laces probably will wear out quickly they’re cheap, but that’s an easy fix, they aren’t work boots or nothing.

Great Shoes for Arched Feet

Really liked these boots. I wear them to work frequently. I was looking for a new set of boots to alternate between and I'm glad I found these. The memory foam is not the entire insole of the shoe but just where your foot arches. I wouldn't recommend to anyone with flat feet as this does a small bump in them and may cause discomfort. I wear them all day and after a few hours, your feet will hurt a bit, but that could also be because I am on my feet all day. I will say they scratch pretty easily. I have some scratch marks just from getting out of my car. Love that the laces are rounded and not flat. Not sure if they're leather or if they're rubber as the material feels very rubber like. Lastly, these will stain your socks. I wore some gray socks and at the end of the day, they were a blue-ish / black tint at the bottom of my socks. Definitely don't wear white socks with these unless you want the bottoms stained. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these. Definitely recommend.

Good cheap boots

This is an excellent cheap boot. Don’t expect anything close to RedWing or Wolverine quality, and you won’t be disappointed. I recommend going a half size down from typical American shoe scale. These shoes are roomy, and would accommodate a wide foot well, however my narrow feet feel fine too. I bought these after looking at the Thursday Boots “Captain”, since I didn’t want to drop two hundo. Wouldn’t pay more than $75 for these, my size was $58 when I bought them. The leather is thin and looks a bit scruffy with age. If you’re hankering for a cheap boot that looks like a more expensive heritage boot, these are your guys. They’re as good for work wear with business casual and a jacket as they are with jeans and a t shirt.

My favorite boot!

I am very picky about boots. I saw this boot worn a few times from a few websites I frequent and thought I would give them a try. I'm glad I did. I wear these boots as casual boots, and I think they are intended for that purpose. Theses boots fit all my requirements: Not bulky, they lay flat as opposed to some boots where the toe curls upward, and a low sole. Some of the other reviews have posted about issues with durability but I have had mine for 8 months and have not had a problem with them. Most of the wear was during winter months (Note: Not a spectacular boot in snowy/icy conditions due to the un-treaded bottoms.) I suggest that you treat the boots with some type of leather protectant, something similar to Obenauf. You need to protect leather and remember is they continuously are exposed to moisture and the elements without treatment, the leather will ultimately dry out and be more likely to tear/rip in places (i.e. - where the leather meets the sole.) Other than that, I will probably be purchasing a few more colors. Hope this helps!

These Boots are a good Deal, however they are priced this way for a reason. I had to return the first pair due the the sole de-laminating from the leather. I have been wearing the replacements for almost a year now. They are just starting to have the same problem. The other issue I see is the Lacing Cleats are ripping out of the leather after just 1 year. If the construction of these boot was better I would be rating them 5 Stars, but due to these issues I cannot. I wore these almost every day throughout the winter and Spring. They are a little heavy for the summer. They require some sort of water proofing to stay dry in the rain. If you have never owned a pair of leather boots before this would be a good first pair to start with. The leather is decent quality and they are comfortable to walk around in all day. **Please note the pictures are after I have treated the Boots with Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP so the color is not true to how they arrive in the box**

Comfortable, good looking boots

Was in the market for a nicer boot in the style of Red Wing Iron Rangers, but didn't have that kind of money to spend on a boot that, living in the deep South, I only get to wear maybe 3 months out of the year. A $75 birthday gift card, a sale coupon, and a few bucks later I picked up these, which fit the bill nicely. They're well made, comfortable, and look good. They're obviously not up to the standard of a $250-300 boot, but for someone who doesn't have that kind of cash to spend on boots, they're perfect. Fit is about a size less than you'd wear in a sneaker. Mine fit perfectly length wise, but are a little roomy in the ankle. Nothing a nice wool boot sock won't fix.

Awesome boots for the price

If I rated these boots after 1 week of wearing them they'd get 1 star. They ran quite big for the size I normally wear. I added a Dr. Scholls sole inside, and after breaking them in (wearing them daily for a few weeks) they have become my most comfortable shoes! Look great as well. These were my first boots, and got them around $75. At that price, I'd say they were definitely worth it (-1 star for running large). ALSO NOTE: I didn't subtract a star, but these shoes do not have any grip on the bottom! Expect to slide around if you're in wet conditions! Day-to-day this is not noticeable.

Perfect fit and really comfortable

Great looking shoes. This is one of the few shoes I bought online (I'm usually nervous about if they will fit so I don't buy). These did and I bought them at the size I pretty much buy all of my shoes at (only dress shoes are usually bought in different sizes) I don't have narrow or wide feet either. One thing I wasn't expecting as how comfortable they were. As soon as I tried them on and stood up I was surprised at how nice the cushion was inside. I also have Timberland boots as well, which are nice but they are not that comfy. I have only wore them maybe 4-5 hrs max multiple times so far so I cant say how they will feel after wearing all day but I can't imagine them getting uncomfortable at all. Not even my Timberlands get too uncomfortable after all day and these have much better cushion.

BOUGHT THEM FOR DRESS UP NOT EVERYDAY WEAR, HAVE RUNNERS AND WORK BOOTS FOR THAT SO THEY SHOULD (HOPEFULLY) LAST ME QUITE SOME TIME. NOW FOR SOME OF YOU WHO WRITE REVIEWS ON THIS PRODUCT OR OTHERS PLEASE GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE OR TWO , COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES AND BE MORE REALISTIC ON EXPECTATIONS , COMMON SENSE IS APPARANTLY NOT SO COMMON .

A superb-looking boot (so far)!

I am usually a cowboy boot wearer. I saw these boots in a movie recently and I liked their look. I decided to try something new and, so far, I am very satisfied with my purchase! I They fit great (I have wide feet), they look great and they are very comfortable. The only thing that worries me is the long-term. I am used to outer soles and heels that tend to NEVER unglue or break from the boot before I have gone through the boot material itself. Just wondering how long these will last me. Overall, a superb-looking boot!
