Must have for any tacklebox

Tool makes snelling your own hooks easy, even with 50lb monofilament. Tie our own hooks for big blue catfish using 50 lb monofilament and snelling a hook by hand without any tool can be done but it is really tough on the finger tips. You do about 3 hooks and you need a break. With this tool, the ties were fast and the quality was faultless (zoom in on the attached photos and see for yourself). I could tie 4 rigs with this tool in the time it took me to do one without it. Strongly recommend this for anyone that wants to save $$$ and tie their own rigs.

Works as advertised.

Nice little product for Schnelling hooks. It’s a little hard to hold the hook, but was able to do it first try. It gets easier the more you do. Works as expected.

DU-BRO Fishing Knot Tool

This particular fishing knot tool works best to tie two lines together. It comes with an illustrated instruction for that knot only. It is a convenient size and lightweight. There are other hook holders available to make hook snelling easier. For me, this is another gadget that I will put in tackle box and never use it.

Fits the DuBro tool perfectly

These are top shelf highest quality straws you can find to use with the DuBro knot tool. Fits the tool like a glove and you cannot go wrong with these. I went to the local grocery store and bought 350 mixed drink stir stick straws for a couple of bucks and these work most excellent for pennies. If you want the absolute best buy these, they are great, but save yourself a ten dollar bill on straws and buy some stir stick straws at your local grocery store.

A little clunky but makes great knots

Takes a couple times to learn how much 'tail' you need. Must have 40lb test line or more so that the contraption will hold the line. I have made lots of great leaders

Beware! False advertisement.

It shows the whole kit, tool, 3 rolls of material and straws but you only get the straws. Total rip off.

False advertising at it's best here would not order these only got the straws. It states a kit and didnt get anything in the pictures. Dont waiste your money on this.
