It's well made, but twists on the dog's body...

I got this for summer since it is lightweight and I like the colors--that match the hot pink lead with two handles that I like to use traveling. It is a nice weight and well made. The only problem is that the physical design of the vest leaves a lot to be desired. It twists on the dog's body and is always crooked, which drives me crazy. My dog doesn't seem to mind and it certainly serves its purpose and looks like it will last. But it always looks just slightly disheveled. I'm keeping it because it is good quality and I like the colors in it. But I would not order another one.

The harness does not say Service Dog, it says Dog Line.

It does not say Service Dog. It says Dog Line so it won't work for our service dog unfortunately. I like the lightweight mesh style of this harness but we have other harnesses. I need one that has the words service dog on it.

Love this particular vest

Love love this vest. In fact this is my third time buying this vest. I strongly recommend this vest not only it durable but also the fact that is majority mesh which keeps my boy cool in the summer. It also light weight so my boy who only 14 pounds can easily wear it all day. And yes he is a service dog so he goes everywhere with me and I didn’t want him carry to much weight

grate product bad customer service

i ordered this for my service dog in the summer time. as a product its grate! i would give a 10 star. very breathable, light weight, has 2 Velcro strips for patches, fits nicely, my dog loves it! only reason I' am giving this a 1 star is the costumer service at first i thought they sent a size smaller as a sticker said the wrong measurements. i got in contact with the seller that amazon provides, they told me to send it back and they would ship a new one asap. they did and gave me a code to send the "wrong size item" back to them. i realized after looking at the product in sunlight the tag said large threw the sticker that had the wrong measurements on it. i took it out of the package and it fit. i tried to contact the seller threw amazon to tell them who ever was labeling the product sizes made a blunder. i wanted to tell them i was keeping the vest and to charge me for the one they just sent as a replacement but the ability to was removed! i got a email saying they charged me for the other vest and that was ok. months later i got the email saying they will charge again until item is sent back. not happy at all. the email is a no reply and i looked everywhere for a way to get a hold of them. so now i have to go threw customer service and my bank to settle this. this is a grate item though but not worth the hassle. probably would never happen if some one would have just done their job and read the sticker properly before putting it on the wrong vest.

Missing important safety feature.

Bought as replacement vest: this vest doesn't have the strap that should reach from neck strap to chest strap to prevent neck strap from acting like a collar. This is an important safety feature. I would not have felt safe attaching the vest in the car or even with a leash, I added a center strap myself and it fits better and should I need to hit the brakes I know my dog will be safe as well. To add a center strap use a piece of strapping that, when the vest is on, it will reach loosely around the neck strap at center front(with enough length for a loop (sewn closed) that will slide onto the neck strap. Once you have a loop place the center strap on the neck strap at center and gently loop the other end to the chest strap at center, measure for a loop like the one for the neck strap and sew loop shut then place it on the chest strap at center. This should keep the neck strap from riding up and the chest strap from becoming a belly strap, both of which could be dangerous. A simple fix for safety!

THE PERFECT vest for TINY SERVICE DOGS

This item is exactly like described. It is flexible, lightweight, and adjust very well to fit my 5.65 pound service dog. I have had such a hard time finding something that was affordable and light and flexible enough for my animal. This tops every single best I have ever tried.

Light weight dog vest

I like it but...

I like everything about this vest. First, its light weight which is hard to find for these kinds of vests. Much more breathable and comfortable for my dog. I like the colour and I like how easy it is to get on and off. The one thing that is very annoying which I have seen mentioned here before is that it does twist quite easily. It's pretty snug on my dog too. Maybe one of the straps needs to be velcro? Then we can get an even closer fit. I may try to figure out a way to fit it on my own but it really is a shame because everything else is great. Also, an important note... I do not attach my dog's leash to this vest. I will either have a collar on her or I will put a harness underneath. If I am being honest I don't trust the strength of this vest. Personally, I use it just as a vest, not a harness.

Best service dog vest we've used!

This vest is incredible! It's lightweight, easy to put in and get off and my son's service dog seems very comfortable with it on! It's very visible because of the colour and it goes almost the entire length of the dog's back. I highly recommend this vest for service dogs!

Measurements are off

I have mixed reviews about this product. The first one I ordered was a medium (measured before ordering, medium should have been perfect) it was too small so I returned (still waiting for my money 3weeks ago) I now have received a Large and it’s massive on her. Also… the card that was supposed to come with it, didn’t come with either order. I was looking forward to the convenience of leaving her registered card in a safe at home and not risk loosing it. If it fit, and I got the card that was advertised, this vest would have been perfect for hot summers and afternoons at the beach

service dog mesh vest not worth the money

don't buy this vest save your money ...I bought this vest and she wore it 4 times and 4th time we are walking then I suddenly notice her vest is moved to the side i check and the chest strap broke, and it threaded so it can't be fixed .. if I could I would send it back and ask for my money back ...

El chaleco es perfecto.

Perfecto, queda perfecto a uno de mis perros se le va de lado nada que un buen ajuste no arregle, perfectonpara perros de terapia o servicio. No recomiendo poner la correa en el aro del chaleco. Si lo quiere para paseo hay otras opciones. Pero para usar con perros de servicio y terapia son perfectos.
