Great deal on an 8 watch winder.

The media could not be loaded. This watch winder is a very good, quality product. I've owned it for 2 months now and have experienced no problems with it. I debated getting this product versus another 4-watch winder, but, for the money, the 8-watch model was the most cost-effective choice for my growing little obsession, I mean collection. The case itself is quite large and has a nice lacquer, cherry wood finish. As you can see from my video of the watch winder with the lid open, it has four rotating spindles that hold 2 automatic watches each, and also slots for 9 quartz (or mechanical wind) watches. The little noise you hear in the video is coming from the winder, but the sound is virtually undetectable with the lid closed. While I feel that the quality of each of the rotating spindles could be a little more substantial, they get the job done and are substantial enough to hold some of my larger, heavier watches. There are two hefty metal knobs with which you can set the rotation interval and pattern (i.e., number of rotations and clockwise vs. counterclockwise) for each pair of spindles. While in operation, the winder is very, very quiet. The power switch on the back of the product as well as the A/C power connection are substantial. (I say this because I have a Brookstone 4 watch winder that has no power switch and intermittently loses power due to a loose A/C power connection.) My winder came with a working key with which to lock the case, which I do not use, but it is a nice touch. I recommend this item for purchase if you're in the market for something like this. So far so good, and I'll update the review if anything goes wrong with the product. UPDATE- Seven months later and this watch winder is still running smoothly. No problems whatsoever.

BIG BEAUTIFUL WATCHWINDER

So far, this is an awesome watchwinder. It has several speeds (revolutions per day??) and even different speeds for each half (4 watches) of the winder. I think that if this lasts 5 years, it is well worth the price of under $300. The display is absolutely gorgeous, in my opinion. I had a 4 watch Brookstone which worked OK (a bit noisy and cheap looking), but when I bought my 6th automatic (a Hamilton, which is cool), I finally decided that having two watches not able to go on the winder was not good...plus, it gave me the excuse to get a new one. Bottom line: get it if you see yourself owning more than 3-4 automatics...but be warned, according to my wife, IT IS HUGE.

Looks nice, suspect operation

Bought this June 2020, First winder came badly damaged. Amazon replaced it, and the second box looked great. Winders are decently quiet for a 8 watch winder, having upgraded from a 4 watch winder. 5 months in, all wonders have stopped moving. They must use the absolute cheapest motors possible. What a shame, would’ve gladly paid a little more for more reliable motors to actually keep the winders rotating.

This was a birthday gift for my hubby who is a watch enthusiast. I was replacing a "less stylish" and much smaller case. I was surprised with how large the case is, but it fits perfectly on a chest in our bedroom. He plugged it in and it works beautifully. The case is very elegant and looks perfect with the decor in our bedroom. The motor is not noisy at all! The best part is it holds all of his collection with more room to add more "treasures to his chest".

Great case for automatic watches

I have had this item for about a month now. The case was well packaged and protected. Only qualm I may have is that there is a lock on the front of the case (and did not come with a key to lock it). Looks great (has the highly polished wood look common in RVs and personal planes).

It is a great value and is very quiet. I think our only complaint is that its not as Ebony as described rather its more of a dark brown with black in it.

If you are thinking about buying this as a gift, make sure you are the person receiving it when it is delivered! This was a gift for my husband and it arrived with "watch winder" in big letters on the side of the box. I was totally bummed! The winder is absolutely huge! I should have looked at the measurements when I ordered it, not the number of watches it holds. It needs its own separate shelf in a closet. I returned it

I want to like this watch winder. The winder work ok but the PU Leather started peeling off after 6 months of use, after 1 year all of the watch cushion PU leather peeled off and i had PU Leather pieces all over the box and also each time I would take out an watch.

Very silent and good quality

I got this winder for my mechanical automatic watches. The finish is good and the operation is absolutely silent. Although the adapter supplied has flat pins, the voltage range is 110 to 240 V so I didn't have any problems for its use in India. Very happy with the overall experience.
