Great quality!

My husband wanted a Christmas valance for the kitchen window and this was perfect! Nice quality cotton fabric. Not the cheap polyester fabric valances so common on Amazon these days. Might purchase 4 more for our sunroom windows.

I like the valance but it is not the color artichoke it’s just a nice green. But all use it because it still goes with the curtains

Quality valance!

Very satisfying purchase. The cotton fabric is nice and sturdy, not "gauzy", not "canvassy" either. It's not a "balloon" valance, but a single-layer. Good, wide hem. The pocket is narrow, so a thick wooden rod wouldn't work. However, a narrow metal "fashion" rod fit well. Can be hung right out of the package or, if you want a slightly stiffer hold, iron and starch. Holds its shape well. The stitching is even and straight, with no loose threads hanging anywhere. Really pleased with the length and width, for an average width window one valance is sufficient. Will cut one in half to use for a narrow window and a door window. Buying two more to put on a long window.
