Beautiful Statue

I purchased this statue to place outside in my garden but when I received it I was so impressed by it's beauty that I decided to display it in a corner of my home, inside my home. Since there is no way to secure this statue to the ground I do not recommend it for outdoor placement unless it is sheltered from wind events.

For tropical bird enthusiasts...quite realistic

Had a snowy egret that would come to the house and my mother would feed it turkey hotdogs. This piece just brings back wonderful memories of my mother's affection for this beautiful bird. An excellent purchase. As much as a statue can be, this is life-like.

Good quality and very realistic..

The white egret is made well and is very realistic. I have it to my daughter and son in law as a anniversary gift.. It now sets above their outdoor fish pond. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Gorgeous life-like figurine

I purchased this beautiful, life-like egret figurine to add to my tropical theme in my new sunroom. I absolutely love it! No complaints. Beautiful fine detail. Looks like the real thing! Generous size as well.

Small colour defects

From a distance it looks good, close to tell that there are small black dots on the surface of the white colour

Design Toscano: Egret Statue

Wow! I love this charming garden ornament! It's fairly lifelike (well, as much as I can decipher from seeing real life Egrets hanging around St James's Park in London), beautifully painted and finished in glossy lacquer. I do wonder, however, how long that it would survive in a garden used by children who knock various balls around though as the beak looks a tiny bit precarious. I am also concerned how it would cope with extremes of temperature. That said, it's a good price for a classy statue of a waterbird and would look amazing sitting beside a domestic pond (and may help deter hungry herons.)
