Misleading listing photo

The photo makes it look like it is a globe on top, but it is only a disk, revealing a light bulb on the back side. Looks great from the front view ONLY.

A pleasant surprise

In truth, I bought this as a backup for another Art Deco piece I wanted but was not available. I had low expectations for the lamp, but when it arrived, it surprised me. It is a wonderfully eclectic and artistic piece. The amber color with the visible light bulb gives it a sunrise/sunset illusion.

Nice

The quality of this lamp is very good. It looks beautiful. My only issue was the way the lightbulb shines on the wall behind the lamp.

She Brought Some Elegance to the Place

I bought this lamp, (Illuminated Sculpture), for decoration. It has succeeded in being a main focal point in my living room. A beautiful woman sleeping on a bed of roses. Unlike the photo in the listing, this background (round disc) is an amber color, which I am very pleased with. You can see the light bulb from the front, but who cares, there is so much more to look at. I love this lamp.

Not attractive

The bulb shows through the yellow disk. Side profile shows the bulb and socket fixture. Unattractive. I would not recommend. A design to cover the bulb and socket would have been to have the Rose's come up the side of the statue to hide bulb and socket

Beautiful Lamp

very pretty lamp, the only thing I don't like is how you can clearly see the light bulb behind the disk - I have this in my bathroom and it goes nicely there - I used a very low wattage bulb

It is a nice lamp with the proper bulb

It's overpriced. It is a nice lamp with the proper bulb. I used a 15 watt LED amber candelabra bulb. Because the glass is so thin (already had to replace it fresh out of the box). I put a translucent film behind the glass to hide the bulb. You can make a glass replacement out of plexi- glass and transparent film. Looks good with my Art Deco décor..
