Cute but......

Emmett is really cute because he's a cute gargoyle, but the quality is not great. The paint is sketchy and there are a few small areas that aren't painted at all. The look of the paint is not a very realistic cement/stone look, and there is a high gloss finish on him that I don't particularity care for. Also, he is super lightweight (about 3 lbs), so I'm hoping that he won't blow away in the wind. With that said, he is cute and I'll probably keep him.

This gargoyle is heavier than expected so should stand the weather. It's a decent size & will look good on the porch.

This gargoyle is so cool - he’s big & well made & sturdy enough I don’t worry about him blowing over in the Kansas winds!

I love this thing

This is great. It’s a great size. I haven’t decided where I’m going to put it yet but it will definitely get a good place. I’ve been looking for gargoyles or mascarons for a while and I’m glad to finally have found one. My sister wanted me to get her one for Christmas once she saw it. I just hope it weathers well

Don't overlook this. It's overpriced but can be made to look really nice

When I first opened the box I was very disappointed. The statue looked cheap & plain & for that reason it gets a 3 star especially how expensive it is. With a little paint & nail polish remover acetone this can be made to look very expensive & the way it should of came out of the factory for the price. It does have a stone feel to it & has some weight. I disagree with the other review that you could put your finger through it as it is the same as other resin made sculptures. The first picture is the way it came out of the box. The other 2 pictures are after I painted it.

Lightweight and plastic

Bit disappointed with this. It feels very lightweight and plastic and doesn't look like stone at all. I'm hoping it will look more weathered over time.

Emmett settles in!

Great gargoyle! Been looking for a while for a companion for Gabriel,he was delivered in a huge box with lots of wadding,so in perfect condition.thank you Amazon he is just perfect!
