Nozzles deteriorates. High cost, but..... High maintenance to keep nozzle clean.

Nice consistent spray

Bought this to replace our original delta shower head which was loosing pressure due to scale build up after 20+ years. Wish I would have done it sooner as this one puts out a much stronger consistent stream and the larger head is perfect.

Works well for a long time.

This was a replacement for an identical shower head. The previous one had gotten clogged with lime, even though our water is not that hard. This could create dripping for a while after someone showered. (I had occasionally put a plastic bag with white vinegar around the previous one using elastic bands, and that enabled me to clean it without needing to remove it.) After over 10 years, some of the plastic nozzles through which the water is sprayed came out, and that resulted in randomly sprayed water which could be painful! Still, we were happy enough with the performance and longevity that we bought an identical shower head. The new one is performing very well after a few months. It was extremely easy to install, and I expect to get over 10 years from it.

A simple yet practically perfect shower head

I bought two of these for our master bathroom shower. They replaced two standard shower heads that had become clogged over time. They are exactly what I had hoped they would be: consistently strong flow. The spray pattern is soft, but it stays reasonably compact so most of the water actually hits your hair. While it is true that the pattern is not adjustable, I can't remember the last time I adjusted my shower head once I had it set the way I liked it (except to try to fix a clogged jet!). I get much better pressure out of these shower heads than the old ones, though I am sure a lot of that is due to the fact that the others were so clogged up with mineral deposits. The installation instructions were clear and easy to read, and the installation was a snap. It is nearly effortless to adjust the angle of the head, but it is not so loose that it does not stay exactly in the position that you set it. Some shower heads are so tight that it's very difficult to move them, and when it finally does move it moves much farther than you expected due to the force you had to exert, so it's a battle to get it set exactly right. Others are so loose that it slowly "droops" over time, forcing you to periodically reset it (sometimes multiple times during a single shower). This head is easily adjustable but stays right where it belongs.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Finally, a shower head without a half a dozen settings the I'll never use. This shower head looks great and feels pretty hefty. I bought a Delta 7" shower arm to go with it (RP40593SS) which works out perfect. Unfortunately, this doesn't come with a shower flange, so ended up order this one (RP51034SS). My showers don't have much water pressure to begin with, so I removed the tiny o-ring inside the flow regulator which helped a lot! I think it's worth the money. Ended up pairing it with the Delta Vero shower parts.

The Best Shower Head

If you are looking for a great shower head this is the one! It does not come with all the various flow options which I never used on my previous one and it comes with a great flow volume unlike a lot of new ones with reduced flow which in my opinion create an unsatisfactory shower experience. These shower heads are getting hard to find everywhere even unavailable at the factory. Only able to locate on Amazon. You won't be disappointed with this one!
